Hello Everyone, hoping you are well and looking forward to the weekend, my goodness they do come around so quickly, can hardly believe we are into April now.
Thank you all for the lovely comments left on my last post, and I'm pleased you liked my rather long story. I tend to write as I speak, a great problem when I was studying and had to write essays and had to keep within a word count.
Today it's a card from a couple of years ago for Erika of Snappy Crafts Friday Oldie. Now I think this is an image from Little Claire, the sentiment certainly is and it would have been coloured with Promarkers. I think the bow has somewhat slipped, I hope I sorted that before I sent it off.
Why not join in with us and share something handmade from an earlier time in your crafting career. It doesn't have to be a card, it can be knitting, sewing, just something hand made, It's just for fun and it's good to look back and see how your crafting has changed and or improved. I know my style has changed over the years, whether it's improved, well I'm not sure about that one. One thing that's not improved is my photography, it's another poor photo.
Pretty cold here, still in the woolly socks, in fact just finished knitting a pair with yarn I bought in Iceland, I'll be having them on tomorrow.
That's all from me just now, take care of yourselves and see you soon.

Wish had a pair of wellies like that, lovely colours and layout Kate
A lovely card again from you today Kate. I have a pair of real life wellies not unlike these in purple and pink. They were bought especially for Bruce's aunt's funeral a few weeks ago. She'd requested people wear bright colours for her funeral. She was buried in a beautiful woodland area and but was muddy at the time. Barbxx
Hi Kate,
what a brilliant Oldie for Friday.
Love those fab wellies, and your wonderful design.
Now this is funny as I was about to put an Oldie on with wellies, and then changed my mind.
Great minds and all that jazz. LOL
Have a wonderful weekend, and it was quite cold here first thing this morning too.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
Hi Kate thanks for joining me today in sharing an oldie, I love those wellies. I wish mine were as colourful. A perfect oldie today.
Have a super weekend, hugs Erika. x

Fabulous card Kate, love those wellies, pretty papers and ribbon.
Do you use a camera or your phone Kate.. if it`s a camera and you are taking close up shots, do you set to the "Macro" button (Flower) and flash off!
Only thing I can think of, unless you are to close not using these.
Hugs Pam x
This is a lovely card with a grewat image. I love those wellies. I think they could be very sersatile...from gardening, to dance in the rain type cards!
Hi Kate
What a super card. Love those posh looking wellies.

Beautiful card Kate.

I love the fancy "puddle jumpers" as we call them here at our house. When my daughter was a child, she used to love having these and running in the rain. Wonderful card, Kate, and thanks for bringing back fond memories.
Hugs
Sue
Now that is exactly what I need - a fancy pair of Wellies. Well done and aren't those pretty colors!
