Poppies and Milo!

Hello there folks, I hope you are well, and getting ready to head into the weekend, so I hope you have some good plans, even if not, just enjoy what you do.

It's our big concert tomorrow so I'm at the theatre from 2pm rehearsing for the performance in the evening, so it's a long day, but it's going to be a good one as the programme is lovely, and I just love the buzz when the curtain goes up and you see the audience waiting in anticipation to hear us. I'm sure they will too.

Thank you all so much for your lovely comments on my last card, your constant encouragement and support is so appreciated.

Here is my card for today;
This is a Sheena Douglass stamp and coloured with Gansai Kuretaki Watercolour paints, mounted on to black card and a CC border die which come free with one of their Inspiration Magazines.  Photo a bit fuzzy. this was snapped before I managed to fix my camera, with Pam's advice so thank you Pam as my newer photos are much better.

Now, here is our new arrival;
Meet Milo, he is 7 weeks old and a black lab, and Damian and Moreen have adopted him, and he loves chewing
Isn't he just a wee cutie, I've fallen in love with him already

A tired out baby, he loves his blankie and tries to take everywhere with him.

This wee chap is a bundle of fun and he will certainly keep Damian and Moreen busy, the cats have taken quite well to him, Poppy gave him a couple of whacks on his head, just to let him know who is the boss.  He is too young to bring over to meet Teallach at the moment, I think our boy just might not be so receptive of him.  I'm looking forward to taking him for walks.

That's me for tonight, hoping to visit your blogs and see what you've been doing. I won't be around tomorrow but will try and catch up when I can.
Take care everyone,

Oh Kate he is so cute! I could take him home you will have fun going to see him. You know me I love labs.
I love your card, those poppies are stunning. Enjoy tomorrow evening a lot of hard work has gone in to this concert. Patricia and I now realise an over night stop over in Inverness would be a good thing to do, instead of a quick up for lunch with you and back. So pleased you are coming down here for the Sheena demo. To think a months time! Hazel xxx

What a tough post for me Kate as I adore Poppies and your lovely card, but then there is Milo and as a lab family he steals the show I'm afraid. Enjoy his puppy days, they grow so fast but then you will have a faithful companion as ours all are.

Oh, what a cutie!!
And love the card. I got that die too, but not used it yet. I like this way, so may try it.
Sorry I haven't been commenting. Realised with my limited "me" time, I can either craft or spend lots of time online, so for reasons of sanity, crafting won! I do still try to see what everyone has been doing though.
Enjoy your concert tonight.

Beautiful card.
You concert is well over now and I am sure it was splendid. Only wish I could have been there to see and hear it. You must have such a pretty voice Kate.
As for the new addition - he really is cute and I am sure a handful. Now are you and Alistair going to get a puppy too??
Is that a picture of you and the puppy?
I need to start taking walks but I don't think my cats are willing to walk on a leash!

That puppy is going to steal some hearts - he's so very cute and adorable!
Your card is gorgeous Kate, this Sheena Douglass stamp set is one of my all time favourites. I now have quite a few of her stamps but I always return to this set, they are lovely flowers to colour and I think that's why I adore them so much, and they are my third oldest set of Sheena stamps but again they are the ones I go back to time and again lol!
