Wedding Day!

Hello Crafting Friends, how are you All tonight?? Everyone tickity boo, I hope.

Another cold day for us here, but I was cosy as I didn't set a foot out of doors. I felt like having an at home day as I was awfully tired, so I just pottered around doing little things I've been meaning to get around to for ages.

Alistair was away up a mountain, and came back saying it was a brilliant day out.
So sad about the two climbers killed a few days ago in Glencoe, experienced climbers too. It just goes to show that experience doesn't always matter. However, if you have a passion for climbing as my hubby does, it won't stop them heading to the mountains.

Anyhow, here I am with a wedding card that I made a while ago and never shared. Made from a LOTV Art Pad and cut with and Xcut die, LOTV paper and an Embossilicious embossing folder, card candy and CC wedding day die.

Not an awfully good photo, so sorry about that.

Thank you all so much for your kind comments on my knitting and my two boys on my last post.

That's me for now,  time for a cuppa and a wee bit of knitting, have a lovely evening and see you soon,

A lovely Wedding card, the embossing folder you have used really sets off the topper beautifully on the shimmery card stock. It looks set to be cold for the rest of the week Kate so I'd stay in doors if I were you, hope you feel better soon.

Hi Kate,
wonderful wedding card, and such a very lovely design too.
Your DH must be made of the white stuff to brave all this cold, and still manage to climb, but then living where you are I expect you are used to the cold.
I expect you are always so glad when he walks back through your door, as accidents are in your thoughts quite often, especially when you hear news like that.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Hi Kate, it was very sad about those two climbers especially when so experienced too. It just goes to show you when the weather changes up in the hills it changes, fast and anyone can get caught out.

A beautiful card, love the LOTV image and the embossed background, just perfect for the occasion.

Stay warm, hugs Erika. x
