Landscape Collage!

Hello to all my Crafty Friends and Visitors, welcome to my wee space of Blogland.
I hope everyone is tip top, but if your not, then I'm sending lots of Hugs and good wishes for a speedy recovery.
I would like to thank everyone who left a comment on my snowman card, I enjoy reading them and always feel encouraged by them.

Well it's the start of another week, boy are they flying in or what!! more than halfway through the year, and what I'm wondering is where is the Summer, not much sign of it in Scotland. I know we have had a few good days but it's never lasted, rainy and dull today and I've go a cardie on, refused to put on the socks though.

My boy disappointed me the other day, he brought his first bird home and I'm not talking Glaswegian slang for a woman, it was definitely of the feathered kind, luckily Alistair was here as I'm no use about getting rid of them. Teallach was not amused that his prey had been taken away and kept giving me the evil eye.  We then found a tiny mouse on the path, he was really busy that day.  I know that it is the nature of cats, but I still don't like it, he's the picture of innocence too.

I've got a card that I'm entering into CB Colour Challenge;

I've used Landscape Collage and coloured with SN Aqua Pens, I hope I've captured the colours OK.
For the background I've coloured with DI and stamped Seasonal fragments on to it. Black Card, XCut Punched border and ribbon from my box. Sentiment from CB Macintosh set.

I've been abandoned again, Alistair is away playing for a couple of days. I was amazed at the care taken with his packing, when we go anywhere, items are just thrown/stuffed  in any old how. I hope the weather is good for them though

That's me for now, will be having a tour around your blogs after I forage for some food, enjoy your evening,
I would like to enter my card into;

A great card Kate, love all the details and colours.
Wow! You will have 100% charge of the TV control for a couple of days.
Hope the weather improves for Alistair and of course for you.
It's really miserable here, heating on for a couple of hours.
This will be "global warming" then!!!

This is gorgeous Kate, I love the image, beautiful colours and wonderful detailing.
My Milton is a terror for catching birds. I know it's just natural for cats to hunt but it really upsets me!

Kate, These are beautiful colors to work with, and you did an amazing job. Just a lovely card, Kate. We are having a heat wave into the 90's quite unusual for us, but when it comes to weather, nothing seems normal anymore!
Wish I could send you some of this heat, humidity is a killer!

Hugs
Sue

Hi Kate, we are getting lots of presents from our two girls at the moment, Poppy and Bella, I think that it must be the time of year :( Thanks for your entry into the Chocolate Baroque challenge, a fabulous card, love the layout, the finishing touches, and how you created the background with the texture stamp. I love your take on the colour combo, your card is lovely.
I'm smiling at your cats exploits, now I know why I have a dog, he brings a ball, stick or stone, much easier to deal with!

Happy crafting, hugs Erika. x

Just in reply to your comment, the Christmas Tree Greetings die is only just over 4 inches high so they are not too big. Its my naff photography that's made it look bigger lol!

The colors are beautiful Kate - you captured them perfectly.
I know what you mean when a cat gets a bird - I wish they would just stick to mice!!
Have a nice time while Alistair is away - don't cook or clean or make up the bed. Just relax and munch on tea and biscuits. Maybe a nice scone or two.

Stunning card Kate. Love how the lighter pink in the sky really makes the image pop. Not the most obvious choice but it works brilliantly. Must remember that one :) I can't believe we are half through the year either. You get up Monday morning and by the time you go to bed it's Friday!!! :) With my other hat on. Thank you for playing along with the Chocolate Baroque Color Challenge. Have a great weekend.

I love your Card . I'm not an artist and am struggling but it's all apart of learning . Do you remember what colors you used . ? It would be so helpful if the design would give a few suggestions especially for us severely challenged people out here in the big wide world . Have a wonderful and joy filled day . Jan
