Karate Kid, Friday Oldie!

Hello to you all, I hope everyone is well, but sending kind thoughts out to those you are not so tip top.

Thank you so much for the kind and encouraging comments on my last card, I do appreciate your time in visiting my blog.

Poor start to the morning, Teallach, brought in another bird and this time it was still alive and trying to get away, again Alistair had to come to the rescue and eventually managed to get the wee thing out, I had to take myself upstairs whilst this was going on. Thankfully, hubby hoovered up the feathers of which there was quite a few.  Teallach must have been very quick, as he had just gone out the door, well the whole thing fairly put me off my boiled egg which I had just managed to cook perfectly, a rare occurrence.

My little card is for Friday Oldie, and this was one I made for Kerr about four years ago, it isn't karate he does, but some other martial art sport, but he loved the card, he still goes to it and now is a brown belt.
It's a LOTV image and coloured with Promarkers.

Friday Oldie began with Erika of Snappy Crafts showing handmade projects from an earlier time. Quite a few of us have now joined her and it's just a bit of fun looking back at what we've made when starting out in our crafting career.  For me it's as much about what little I had when I started and how basic  my designs were, This card is very basic.

Anyway, why not join in the fun and share an early project, we would love to see them.

Have a good day and see you soon,

A great card Kate, I love that little karate kid, just perfect for a martial arts enthusiast.
We had a couple of birds fly into our windows yesterday, what a clatter and feathers everywhere outside of course. I'm glad I didn't have to tidy it up.
As for ironing my hubby does iron and I have shown my eldest boy, both only do it if they absolutely have to. Although my hubby did complain once about his uniform so I make him do that himself now!! I hate doing work shirts. Method in my madness!

Have a super weekend and thanks for joining me in sharing an oldie today.

Hugs Erika. x

Hi Kate,
oooooooo! I think I remember this Oldie.
I thought it was fab when you posted it, at the time because my grandson was going to Karate, but sadly he didn't like it much so gave it up.
Now my granddaughter who is now 28, and a mother of 3 children was very much into this sport, and gained a black belt in it.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

a beautiful oldie Kate - aw - naughty Teallach - my cat is getting a bit on the old side but does still catch things - funnily enough she had a baby mouse yesterday - and then today we found a baby mouse wandering around the garden - looking very out of sorts - unfortunately I found him later on without any signs of life but seemingly unmolested - I do wonder if it was the one I saw Missy playing with yesterday.... sad. Anyway - I'm rambling! Big hugs rachel xx

Such a cute card. Since we have a second generation of little boys in our family now, I have collected quite a few sports related stamps myself. This one is really nice and your card is too. These kinds of stamps never go out of style.
