Roses!

Good Evening Crafty Friends, I hope everyone enjoyed their weekend, rested and recharged to head into another week.

Thank you very much for all the lovely comments on my last card, it's all very encouraging, and I do appreciated each and everyone of them.

We have had mixed weather over the last few days, but it is cooler thankfully, however I'm hoping for decent weather tomorrow as Alistair is going to replace the velux window in our bedroom.  I'm a bit apprehensive about it as it is a large window and hope he will manage it without hurting himself.  I suggested that we get a tradesman in to fix it, but when he heard the quotes, he said he would do it himself.  His friend Bill is going to give him a hand with it.  I'll be keeping my fingers crossed it all goes according to Alistair's plan.

On to my card for today;
The image and papers are from a recent Papermainia collection called Botanical, I think it's a beautiful collection. Crafter's Companion Vintage Embossing folder. Sentiment is from Papermainia.
Promarkers
Creative Expressions Dazzler and Dovecraft Pearls
Ribbon and butterfly gems from my box
Glamour Dust in Crystal
Glossy Accents on Leaves

I hope you like my offering, I enjoyed colouring it in.

Off now to catch Corrie and have a cuppa.  Enjoy your evening.

I would like to enter my card into;

Such a pretty card with those lovely roses Kate. Hope the window fitting went well. John will never have workmen in for anything! He even re-roofed the house himself! My heart was in my mouth but he thought nothing of nipping around on the roof - not as high as a mountain he said!. Hugs Christine xx

Hi Kate, a beautiful card and love your touch of glitter on the roses.
We had a new velux window fitted a few years back and have just had to have it redone as it was leaking again. What a pain. A proper company and a total botch job so had to pay again for it to be removed and replaced properly. Still under warranty but the company no longer trades.....I wonder why! Argh.
I hope hubby and his pal get it spot on first time for you. x

Hugs Erika. x
