Hello Everyone, I hope you are all well, and coping with everything that's going on just now. Thankfully the vaccine is rolling out well so that gives hope.
Alistair gets his tomorrow, so it's up early and away to the vaccination center for 9am. However, Scotland's lockdown has been extended till the end of February, but it is making a difference.
I have a card today that was made for a friend's Husband last year;
Sorry about the photo, not my best. I've used the lovely owl stencil from Imagination Crafts and glitter paste onto black card, mounted on to brown glitter card. A simple enough wee card.
Well, it's just a quick pop in and out today, whilst there is still a bit of light left I'm hoping to get a bit of colouring done, so till next time, keep yourselves safe and see you soon,

Oh I do love and owl and this a fine specimen and stenciled with that great glitter paste. I'm so pleased that Alistair is about to get his vaccine. John had his just over three weeks ago and I felt very relieved even though it hasn't altered our behaviour in any way. If only we could say the same for everybody we'd soon have this virus kicked into touch! Hugs Christine xx

Great effect of glitter paste onto black, beautiful card.
Nobody knows how long will be the "immunity" after the vaccines and what will be the sides effects on human bodies in the long run (they are experimenting on us to see, until 2025). However it seems that masks, social distancing and lockdowns will not finish, because there will be new global pandemics (source: WHO). At the some time, in any country people's lives are destroyed and freedoms deleted.
Hope hubby got jabbed and is feeling ok. This is such a striking card x

Do love Owls and I always think they are perfect for masculine card Kate. Pleased hubby had his jab, same here for us, I know the protection takes time but it feels like a step in the right direction.

This is a gorgeous glittey owl Kate with the crescent moon and leaves, and love the double mount on to that prettly brown glitter card...totally sparkly! Pleased that Alistair has now had his jab. My hubby had his a week ago and I am in the next age bracket down so hopefully mine will be fairly soon. x
