Patterned Papers for the CCC!

Hello again, I hope your weekend is going well and that you are doing something you enjoy....even if that's nothing special.  It's been housework for me, but I feel like I've accomplished quite a bit, even getting the washing out, dried and ironed, so the rest of the weekend is all mine. Not that there is anything planned.

Thank you for you lovely comments on my last post and for the suggestion of getting myself  a box to my medication in, I had thought of that myself so that's what I did and feel I can keep on top of it all now....we'll see.

Well it's time again for the CCC to show off there creations and this time it is Grandmargaret who is the hostess and she has chosen, use two or more pattern papers. This was a bit of a challenge for me as I really no longer use papers so very much, however, here's what I came up with.
Both of the papers are from the Joyous Noel Designer Paper pack from SU, sorry about the photo, the colours are much more vivid in reality, a bluey green and copper, on the first one and a grey sort of beige on the bottom paper. I've added a coppery ribbon and a lovely deer die from Dovecraft. The sentiment is from the First Frost stamp set from SU. A few pearls to finish,
The inside of the card had a Card-io stag and a freebie sentiment from Creative Stamping magazine

More SU paper, this time from First Frost Paper Pad, I have to say it's a set I love, it's a sort of watercolour look and the colours are gorgeous. I've embossed silver card, and added a lovely satin ribbon. The sentiment is the same as the first card and a few pearls.
The inside of the card, with more paper from the same pad and one of the stamps from the set, sentiment is also from SU.

I loved that I got to use these lovely papers, so thank you for the challenge Margaret.

Do look out for the cards created by the other CCC team members, they always come up with fabulous cards.

That's me for now, take care and hope to see you soon,

Oh Kate, I do love your papers so very much! The holiday card is splendid! I, too, have gotten a little further away from designer papers but still try to get them onto a few birthday cards and holiday cards. Yours is a beauty! Have a great weekend!

Gorgeous cards, Kate! I love them all. I would struggle a bit with that one too as I don't tend to buy papers these days but make stamped backgrounds instead. I was a paper stroker but not user for many years and still have quite a bit I haven't used, lol

Good Morning Kate. Beautiful cards and like you I really don't use papers very much now either. Your choices are perfect and both cards will be well received by the person that receives them too. Not long to go now till we meet again. Hope all is well with you both. Speak Soon. Hugs Rita xxx

Hi Kate, these are really beautiful cards. I love the papers. I found this challenging too but it does me good to be challenged. Hope you are enjoying the weekend - and the weather is better up there than down here - we have precipitation, lots of it!

The colour combinations on both of your cards look so elegant and so very pretty. The stag looks so regal and the silver embossing on card number too so rich and eye catching. Great sentiments and fabulous cards Kate x

Just catching up, your anniversary card below is gorgeous and these Christmas cards are lovely too. As you know I love patterned papers. Sorry to hear about your medical problems, hope you get sorted soon. I sometimes get restless legs, just one of those things, no particular problem, and tried Antistax gel as my mum recommended it, she uses it for aching legs. It does help, you can get it in Boots.

Lovely cards Kate, you all must be well on your way with Christmas cards. I've made an odd few but not got the bulk of my Christmas stuff out yet, way too hot in my craft room still.

I,m having a great time playing with my girls, xxx

Hi Kate

Two lovely cards and I like the front sentiment on them very much!

I am impressed you have done the inserts too. I have a box of Christmas cards piling up and not a single insert inside any of them! LOL!!

Hope all is well with you.

Love Jules xx

Hi Kate, loving your cards, beautiful papers you
have used. Like you I very rarely use patterned
papers. I have a large draw full, mostly freebies
given with craft magazines lol! I really must get
them out and have a play, I'm just so used to making
my own backgrounds, I never think to use them. Have
a good week. Hugs Jennifer xx.
