I'd like to give a warm welcome to Cheryl who had decided to become my latest follower, thank you so much Cheryl and I hope you will pop in often. I'm not sure if you have a blog, but if you do let me know as I would love to visit you.
It's a lovely sunny day here and I've got the day to myself as Alistair is away for a walk with one of his pals, poor man he's had cabin fever staying indoors as the weather has been so bad, so I hope they have a good walk.
Me.. well I've put a washing out.... it's the simple things with me, or I'm just sad.
At the dentist yesterday, and good news, she managed to do a marvellous repair job. As there still was a little bit of structure left she managed to rebuild by adding a metal strip????? note to self.. keep clear of magnets. Anyway, the tooth looks better than it has in 20 years, but eventually it will give out, then I'll have to see what I can afford. When I got my bridge on the other side of my mouth it was on the NHS, not nowadays and it would be upwards of £3000 if I wanted to go down that path. However, all good for now, just a wee bit sore.
My card today is one I made before Christmas but never posted;
Thank you so much for the lovely comments on my last card and I am pleased to say Damian liked it too, mind you he like the Port better. I can hardly believe that's him 46 now, Where did the years go!
That's me for now, till next time take care everyone and see you soon,
I would like to enter my card into the https://scrapsoflifebyscrappymo.blogspot.co.uk/2018/01/january-2018-rudolph-days-challenge.html

The powders make a fantastic background and the colours you chose add to the frosty feel of the card, beautiful colouring on the stamp.
Another super card Kate! I like the background, I have brushos and I think pixie powders are similar, super product
It's sunny here today too, feels like the first time I've seen the sun since Christmas so I've been sat in the conservatory with Manny enjoying it

Lovely card, so winter and cute ;O)
Such a sweet card Kate -- those bears are so adorable although in real life I am sure they are quite scary!!! But this image makes polar bears look as innocent as new born lambs!
Good luck with your tooth Sugar - dental costs are quite high here too.
Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

Your background sheet is amazing. Such beautiful inkyness!
Love the bears and the card design. It is a keeper!

I'm glad that managed to repair your tooth, I hope it has many happy years left! Great card, so fun and I love your background x
A gorgeous card , Kate! love the colours. Happy Rudolf day! Good to hear that you have had some decent weather. Here it is just dull and grey
I really love this little stamp Kate and I like what you've done with it here. I have to say that I'm a little envious at your production of Christmas cards. I start off the year with good intentions but then I seem to loose it somewhere along the way. I'm pleased to hear that your trip to the dentist wasn't too traumatic. I think the dentists of today are far kinder than some of the the butchers that we used to have. Crafty hugs, Sandra x
gorgeous card Kate and glad to hear about the tooth! Big huggles rachel x
It is a beautiful Christmas card, Kate. Oh, I hate dentists! I am glad that everything is OK with you. Kisses, my friend.
Wonderful card Kate, those bears look so happy on their sledge and love the background the colours are so pretty :)
Hugs Kaz xx
So glad they saved your tooth, what a relief. Don’t eat on it and it will last longer 😀. Gorgeous cute card
Happy for you that the tooth repair worked out well for you, and hope you can avoid that big expense as mentioned. What a wonderful background created with the Pixie Powders (we don't have those in the USA as far as I know). Looks similar to the brushos from what I can see. Made a pretty background for the cute sledding bears, and I like the way you've done the matting. Neat embellies too! Enjoy your week, and hope you'll have some nice sunshine to enjoy the walking. TFS & Hugs
Hi Kate, well at least your little polar bear is enjoying the snow! Ours went away for a few days, now it snowed all night again. Love the background you made too on your card. Glad your tooth was repairable and that is done for now.
Hugs
Sue
super sweet card Kate...love it layered over that wonderful colour burst bkg.
xx Karen
Your sledding Polar bear is adorable!
He is coloured beautifully and you have made such a lovely card.
Glad your tooth was able to be saved. I retire officially in MArch 2019 so I am having all my really old crowns replaced before that date, as I will then have very limited dental coverage. Not enough coverage left then to cover replacing one a year, and still doing maintenance cleanings as well.
i dread having to replace a bridge at that time as it is the cost of a holiday...lol
Thanks for taking part in the March Rudolph Days Challenge.
This little bear looks very familiar Kate :). I love how you’ve coloured him and the background too. The little Christmas spray is a great addition, it’s a fabulous card x
Aaaah what an adorable snowy scene and thanks for joining us at Aprils Rudolph Days Challenge, Luv Sam x
This is such a lovely image and you have coloured it so beautifully!
I love the background you created. T?his is the second card that mentions pixie powders. I am off to google just what they are...
Thanks for taking part in the April Rudolph Days Challenge.
