Magical and Mystical for CCC!

Hello there,  well would you believe it, a fortnight has past and it's time once again for the CCC  ladies to share their latest cards and this time our lovely Rachel has chosen the theme which is Magical and Mystical.  I had a rake around the craft stash and this is what I came up with;
This was part of a set from Papermania a few years ago, I think it was called Enchanted Christmas.  He's a very Mystical Santa and I've coloured him with Derwent Coloursoft pencils. The sentiment is from the same set.  SN  Aqua pens for the background colouring mixed with glycerin. To create a scene around him I've used trees and the deer Creative Stamping magazine's free stamps. The snow is Fluffy Stuff and glitter. I think he's rather grand.

More from the Enchanted Christmas set, the background paper is velum and I've added lots of glitter.

I hope you like them Rachel, I had fun making them and of course it's good to get rid of some old stash.

Please visit the other CCC ladies as they always have wonderful creations.

Thank you everyone for your lovely comments on my last post. Scheduling this for tomorrow when the challenge goes live.

Take care everyone and see you when I get back from my trip,

These are lovely Kate, do you know I have those stamps and have never used them - you just reminded me what unusual images they are.

Don't know where the time goes, I've been making blackberry jam tonight there are so many this year, does feel like Autumn has arrived though!

Enjoy your trip

This Santa has the look of a woodland sprite with his greenery and love the background scene with silhouette tress and the cute deer and love the fluffy stuff snow Kate. The second card is very pretty with the great background vellum and the silver embellishments go beautifully with the sweet tree topper. I hope you have had a good time in Coventry and a great catch up with your friends. x

Hi Kate
Missed this with all that's been going on lol!
Terrific cards, though I must admit Santa looks a bit scary in his mystical guise...a bit Lord of the Rings-ish.
Your colouring is always superb.

Very pretty cards. Love the snow in the first one, looks awesome. Santa is a bit scary, but very mystical for usre!
Your second card is wonderful. Shame it is so hard to get the sparkle of glitter on a card to the camera.

Hugs
Sue
