Two or More Papers for the CCC!
Hello Everyone, time yet again for the Christmas Card Club ladies to show their latest creations. Where on earth does the time go, it seems no time since I posted the last ones.
This time it's the turn of Granmargaret to choose the theme and she would like to see two or more papers used.
Now I don't seem to use papers all that much although I've got loads of the stuff, so I was a wee bit daunted by the challenge, however I put my thinking cap on and here is what I came up with;
I've used different papers from First Editions Gilded Winter for this card and SB Poinsettia die, and Sue Wilson little flourishes. Gold ribbon and some gems, lots of gold glitter and a First Editions die cut sentiment.
Silent Night is the paper choice from First Editions for this card. TH die to give a bit of texture, various snowflake dies and the Joy sentiment is a First Edition die. Blue ribbon and a few gems. The paper has a lovely sparkly tree and there is a different paper behind the die panel and the snowflakes are another paper from the same pad.
Well, it was quite a challenge for me this time around, and as usual the photography is pants, but hey ho, I hope they will do. Thanks for making me think Margaret, a good challenge.
I hope everyone is well and enjoying their weekend, and thank you for your lovely comments on my previous card.
So visit the other CCC girls and see what they are creating, that's me for now, away to schedule this post for tomorrow, take care and see you soon,

# 2 is my favourite of the two, although they are both pretty close. I just love the Silent Night paper pad and will be sad when mine is used up. Hugs Christine xx
These are gorgeous Kate. I love the icy papers and your pretty snowflakes on the second one. It is lovely to see a DL card too, we tend to forget that shape I think and they make very lovely tall card to design on. Yours is stunning with the gold edged poinsettias.

Your cards are delightful Kate!!
We just returned from a whirl wind trip to Spain and Portugal and yes I came home with a vicious head cold. Probably from the flight over. I am exhausted today!!

Lovely unusual designs Kate. I like the texture that the papers create and your use of glitter to lift it all. Super. x
Two beautiful cards. You have come up trumps with these. I love the delicate colours and the flowers are superb. Hugs Mrs A.
How weird Kate - I've never noticed that you don't use many dp's - you do make some fabulous backing papers yourself though - so that's probably why. Sorry I've got me waffling hat on! These two creations are both wonderful and you have certainly given me ideas with the second one - ie that corner! Lots of big hugs to you and a mwah to Teallach of course.
