Fishes!

Good Morning Everyone and how are you all today?, I do hope you are well and have had a lovely weekend. Quiet one here again, but that's fine as I get lots done when I don't have to be going anywhere.

Monday.... I can hardly believe that another week has started and almost at the end of February, scary or what! We have a brilliantly sunny day here but oh so cold, a thick frost during the night and my velux window in the bedroom looked as if there was a lace curtain covering it when I opened the blinds, beautiful.  As I'm typing this a gritter is going down our road, so conditions must be bad as we are on a side road and not usually gritted.

Thank you all so much for your lovely comments on my last post, I appreciate everyone of them and the time you take to visit.

I'm sharing my card for the Chocolate Baroque Colour Challenge this morning;
I've used one of the AYOS images called Fishes and used  DI and Starlight Paints to colour them up. The background of shells is stencil from Imagination Crafts and Starlight Paints. On the card base I've stamped the little bubbles from one of CB latest stamp sets Sticks and Stones. The sentiment is from the McIntosh set of sentiments. Just Pearls used  in and around the fishes.

Just before I sign off I thought I would share this photo of Milo and Rowan in the snow;
Damian sent this photo of them when on their walk in the woods, Rowan kept jumping into the snow and disappearing, they had great fun, although I think the look on Milo's face is one of hurry up my paws are freezing.

That's all from me today, I hope you have a good one whatever you're doing, so take care and see you soon,
I wouls like to enter my card into;http://chocolatebaroquechallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2017/02/challenge-thirty-two.html

A super card Kate, the stencilled background is a great match for the AYOS stamp, and the bubbles image from the Sticks and Stones set works so well too. Thanks for your entry into the Chocolate Baroque Challenge. Love the photo of your furry friends, they do look a bit chilly. We have not had any snow here, but we live in a very sheltered area, and it is much milder. Keep warm, Judith xx

I think you've interpreted this colour challenge beautifully Kate - I always have trouble with them and so I steer clear but this is wonderful. I love the bubbles and the shells beneath your image. Brilliant! I also have to say that I agree with you re Milo - the look says it all - lol. Big hugs to you and a cuddle for Teallach. Sue Pxxx

Some awesome and intricate coloring work involved in this pretty card. Love the layout, the fish motif, and it looks so well with the gorgeous stenciled motif as the background. Enjoyed seeing the pictures of the little guys out in the snow. They are so cute. Hope the weather gets a bit nicer for you, and warms up well. TFS & Hugs

Hi Kate, I hope all is well with you! What a wonderful card. Love the underwater scene, the bright colours you used really work well for a sea card! The bubbles and seashell patterns are so much fun!!

Love that photo of Milo and Rowan, aren't they just the sweetest! I have a Maltese and I made the mistake once of letting her play in the snow. Then all of a sudden she just stopped dead. When I went to pick her up, there was so much snow attached to her fur that she couldn't even move her legs. So hilarious!! Sending hugs :)
