Back to Normal?? and Honeysuckle Butterflies!

Hello Everyone, first post of the year and hoping you all had a very good Festive Time. I don't know about you, but I am pleased to be getting back to some kind of normal.

We had a lovely Christmas at Damian and Moreen's home with all the pets, and of course it was Milo's first Christmas and he was beside himself with excitement. Teallach too, had a rare time with the wrapping paper, ribbons and bows, wasn't all that fussed about his treats.

New Year found Alistair poorly so that we didn't make it to our friends, but home was the best place for him, so it was a quiet time too
But my goodness, I feel like I never want to eat again, stuffed to the gunwales, I dare not step on the scales.  New eating regime from now one.

Now I tried to have a bit of a break from blogging, so you might find less comments than usual, but I've seen wonderful projects on my reading list.  Also thank you for the lovely comments on my last card.

My card today is for the CB Colour Challenge;

I've used the main image from the Honeysuckle Butterfly stamp set, and coloured with DI. Embossed background with a folder from Sheena Douglass from her Indian Collection, this was given to me by my lovely friend Mrs. Duck. The sentiment is from the Floral Notes collection.
Pants photo as ever, sorry.

To finish off my post today, here is Milo in his new towel robe he got for Christmas;
He greeted us at the door with it on and wore it most of the day.
Here are Alistair, Damian and Milo relaxing after having washed up the dinner dishes. Notice the big bag of M&S chocolates by the side of Alistair, had them all but gone before we got home, he's now blaming the scales for telling him awful news.
This time joined by Alfie, he is a gorgeous boy and he isn't around much so I snapped him when I had the chance.

Chocolate Baroque are now on Hochanda with Lesley doing her second show of the day at 5o'clock, off to watch it in a few minutes. I'm so pleased that they have finally teamed up with them as they are a huge favourite of mine.

Thank you all for your visits and see you soon,

I would like to enter my card into;http://chocolatebaroquechallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2016/12/challenge-thirty.html

Like you it's nice to be getting back to some sort of normality Kate (whatever normal is - I often wonder !!), love the photo of Milo he is just like our George who also has a red coat and collar.

Love your card and the lovely summery feel to it, a real promise of brighter days ahead.

Yes, Lesley is on Hochanda today, I loved working with the Rose stamps for this one - and advance notice more lovely things to come later this month - can say no more.

Hi Kate
Oh my, that's a beautiful card. So glad you could make use of the embossing folder.
Hope you left stuff for everyone else to buy from the CB shows lol! You must be a platinum customer (don't worry, we won't tell Alistair).
My goodness, Damian looks like you and Alfie looks just like T Boy too.
Don't talk to me about scales. When I jump on mine, they say "one at a time please"
Take care.

This Honeysuckle Butterfly image is beautiful and you have coloured it so prettily Kate, and the embossed background is just perfect with it. Thanks for your very kind comments and I will also be visiting you again I'm sure as you have such a wide variety of things that you do on here. We have two in common, cardmaking obviously, and singing, which I have enjoyed since school days and have done all sorts of music and also some solo stuff from time to time, so it's lovely to hear about your choir in Inverness. You are right singing is the best therapy. x

WOW! Stunning card Kate, great texture and super lovely colouring. I daren't step on the scales either! I know that my weight loss regime has gone in the reverse direction since Christmas (trousers just a little tight - eek). Going to brave it and get on the scales tomorrow then back to good eating etc. Good luck with the Chocolate Baroque Challenge x
