Music Fanfare!

Hello Everyone, I hope you are well and enjoying your day.
Thank you all for visiting me and leaving those lovely comments, and a warm welcome to Anne who has now joined my little band of Followers, I hope you continue to pop in when you can  Anne.
Anne has a lovely blog and is on various Design Teams, and you can find her here .

I have a card made for the latest Chocolate Baroque Colour Challenge, No. 24
Brilliant colours to work with, here's what I've done;
So I've used images from Music Fanfare and a mixture of Momento and Airondack inks applied with Inkylicious Inkdusters.  Inkylicious sentiment.  Little butterfly die is a Sizzix one,Liquid Pearls and a wee bit of WofS, which of course doesn't show up.
I have a great lack of CB sentiments, which I must rectify.  I also have to say that the colours are more intense in reality.

Our lovely friend was taken into hospital again for emergency surgery, and the medical team had to make some life changing decisions, but Sean has come through it well and hopefully will make a good recovery.  It will be a wee while before he get my card, as I posted it the day he landed up in hospital, but as he will be convalescing for a while it doesn't matter when he receives it.

Having an at home day, Damian is at home so I've no Milo duties,  and Alistair did the hospital visit, planning a bit of time in the craft room,oh you've no idea how good it feels to be able to say that, having my own space is just pure dead brilliant!

That's me for now, off for a play, see you soon,

I would like to enter my card into the :

Hi Kate,
what a very brilliant card.
Such a wonderful colour combo, and such a great design.
So glad your friend is doing well after the op.
Yes it is nice to have a craft room as you don't always have to clean up straight away after using crafting items.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Best wishes for your friend's speedy recovery. What a beautiful cheer up card you've created for him. Love the lightly sponged background...it looks so lovely behind the music score. Also very much enjoyed that sunset inspiration that you took the colors for creating your background. TFS & Hugs.

A lovely card Kate. I'm sorry to hear about your friend and I hope he gets well soon. Yes, having a craft room is wonderful. When my Son left home a few years ago, as he moved his things out, I moved my craft things in. He did ask what would happen if he wanted to come back home at some point in the future and I told him that we have a perfectly good sofa :) take care Kate, crafty hugs, Sandra X

I believe you were in my neck of the woods yesterday?
Shame I was at work I could have joined you for an ice-cream. I still have all those knitting magazines for you, must try and get them to you at some point over the summer.
