Knitting Fairy for Friday Oldie!

Good Morning Everyone,  I hope you are all well and now grown web feet with all this rain that's about just now. I thought it would be better today, but just as bad with mizzling rain.  Were are having all our outdoor painting done, but the painter has had to call off because of the rain, so we will go for it tomorrow, the forecast is saying it's to be better.

Thank you all so much for the lovely comments on my Seaside Canvas, you are all very kind, I won't be giving it to anyone, it's just for myself and I plan to do a couple more once I've got a few more seaside bits and pieces.

Well it's time for Erika's Friday Oldie, these Fridays do come around so quickly, here is my share;
Gosh what an awfully dull photo, but as you can see it's a knitting fairy, I think it's from Sugar Nellie, and coloured with pencils.  This was obviously photographed before I discovered photo editing, and had I thought I would have redone it, but hey ho.

I hope you will join Erika and the rest of us that share our older creations, it's just for fun and it could be anything as long as it's hand made, I sometimes have an knitting project, others have altered art, sewing, just whatever.  Erika and you can find her blog here, started Oldie for Friday a couple of years ago and it has gradually got more of us interested in sharing our makes, it's good to see how our crafting has changed/improved, so why not join in.

That's me for today, the weekend is on the doorstep once again so whatever plans you have I hope you have a good one, till next time,

,

Hi Kate,
what a brilliant Oldie today.
I love that very cute knitting fairy.
Super design as always, and that butterfly is gorgeous.
Now where I live don't get much rain, but we seem to be getting a fair share at the mo too.
Good luck for tomorrow.
Have a very lovely weekend.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Great oldie Kate, did you pick her because you love knitting too. Torrential rain here the burn at the edge of the garden is rising to within 12-18 inches of the grass so I hope it stops soon.

I love your knitting fairy, how adorable and sweet! Those butterflies are just amazing, love it!! Your seaside canvas is brilliant also, just had a peek at that. Seems we are having opposite weather. What a wouldn't give for a couple days of rain. It's perfectly sunny and hot every day, which I actually find a little boring. tee hee. Happy Belated Birthday by the way. Not sure how I missed it, but I'm sending birthday hugs to you :)

Your knitting fairy is very cute Kate, with lovely background papers too.
Thanks for joining me in sharing an oldie today.
I think the garden has had enough rain now, or do we need to think about building an Ark?
I am fed up of getting wet walking the dog and I bet she is fed up of getting slightly shorter walks.
The forecast is better for tomorrow so hopefully your painter will get the job done, blooming typical when I have been off all week and am back in work.

Enjoy the weekend, hopefully it will be a little dryer.

Hugs Erika. x

A beautiful oldie Kate, lovely image and card. The weather here is a little better than of late and I'm looking forward to the weekend when it's supposed to be sunnier.

Hi Kate, I didn't get round to commenting last night. I was a bit tired after walking around the show all day. Nice dry day and the sun came out in the afternoon, but the ground was very wet and muddy after all the previous rain. Should have taken my wellies!! Your little knitting fairy is so sweet. She should join our WI "Craft and Laugh" group on Wednesday afternoons. We do lots of laughing but less crafting some weeks. Hugs Christine xx
