A Get Well Wish!

Good Morning to Everyone, and I hope all is well with you.  Gosh the weekend once again, where does the time Go?? Well at least it's not raining, and just waiting for the painter to arrive.

Thank so much for your lovely comments on yesterday's card,I appreciate your time that you take to visit me.

Well with the pants weather and the dire excess of football, yes Alistair has watched every feckin one so far, we had to have words last night, I've been spending time card making and I know that's a good thing, but when I want to watch a regular programme, I find it's been dropped for the footy,Errrrrgh!

The lovely sentiment is the focus of this card made for another friend who is recovering from surgery. I've inkdusted with various Airondack inks and matted and layered on to some embossed card I came across in my box of tricks.

I thought you might like to see the cygnets again, my goodness they have grown,
Right that's me for today, no Matt the Painter yet, but he's only 45 minutes late so not to worry, have yourselves a lovely weekend whatever your plans are and see you soon,

Lovely card Kate. A fab background for the poem/sentiment. No footy in our house. I am watching the tennis via the computer. There are cables everywhere. Great to see the swan family. Enjoy your day.

Hi Kate,
what a very wonderful card.
I can't quite read the sentiment, but I'm sure it's wonderful.
Love your very super coloured background.
After seeing your lovely cards,I have just ordered the set you had for your candy, and am waiting eagerly for it to come, and have a play.
I am very lucky as my DH is not into sports of any type so there is no footy on my TV, but we also have our own TVs as he likes to sit on the bed, and is more comfortable there, and I am more comfortable sat in my armchair.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

It's all about football these days? At least you can find solace in crafting. Beautiful card, Kate. And thank you for your kind words on my Art Journal I wasn't sure if it was good enough for public display.

Pretty card and that sentiment is absolutely wonderful. Your swan family if growing - so pretty to see.
We don't watch soccer here - but I love American style football so my husband and I watch it together. Right now we have been watching car racing. I am usually puttering around while watching.

Hi Kate
Lovely pastel card. You have made a super background and is that an Inkylicious sentiment?
We've had cricket and footie this past week but thankfully just the England games, which I'm happy to watch anyway. I'm guessing Alastair's next birthday present is a portable TV for the shed?
Best wishes.

Love your Inklicious sentiment, which is one of the many sentiment ones I own, and the background is fabulous Kate. Luckily John is not into football - but I do dread when it's time for the rugby!!! Hugs Christine xx

Love how you have created the background, the verse is great as well.
We have had some football on but I fortunately have another 2 tellys I can watch.
I am sitting ready to watch the Portugal match, i like to watch them plus Barcelona.
Robert will be here tomorrow, we will have non-stop running commentaries on football matches!!!
Thank you for all your help re:- Windows 10 I am slowly getting there,I am just rather stupid as far as technology goes.
Getting too old for all this change and absolutely NO patience!!!
Hope the painter turned up.

A fabulous card Kate, such a pretty background.
It's not only the football, there was tennis and horse racing messing with the schedules last week - not much fun when you have an autistic child in the family!

Beautiful card as always Kate <3 And such a sweet picture of the little cygnets! Gorgeous :) Sparky is doing SO well, she's flying around on her three legs - she even (much to my dismay!) caught a mouse the other day. Luckily, I was able to wrestle it off her and release it free in an undamaged state - phew :) Thanks so much for enquiring about her, it means a lot to me <3

Feeling your footy pain too Kate, I've even started to watch it which is most annoying as I hate it. Still I am fairly steaming through all my jobs and orders because of it.
A lovely sentiment for a get well wish and I love all the shades of your background.
Oh my those cygnets have grown, haven't they? What a great picture.
I hope you enjoyed the rest of your weekend?

Hugs Erika. x

Hi Kate, this is one of my favourite verses fro Inkylicious and I love the way that you've made it center of attention here. Your colour choice and blending is beautiful and the embossed white frame just finishes it of perfectly. After reading your post, I feel quite relieved that my Hubby doesn't really enjoy football :) Take care and enjoy your week. Crafty hugs, Sandra X
