Bluebelle and Friend for the CCC!

Hello and Welcome to Everyone who pops in to see what's on offer today.  I hope you are all well, but sending Hugs and kind thoughts to those of you who are not so well.

Thank you all for your comments on my last post, all very kind and I do appreciate them.

We had a lovely day at Cullen on Friday, fab weather, however there was quite a sea harr out on the sea, it was really amazing.  I found the wee craft shop and just had to buy something.  I'ts owned by Geraldine who comes to Howdens to demonstrate for Do Crafts.  I couldn't splash out as Alistair was with me, beat he doesn't know what I get up to too much.

So I'm here today with my card for The Chrsitmas Club, (CCC), and this time around the theme is Trees.  Trees have to feature somewhere on the card, this was chosen by Sylvie.
Is'nt this so sweet.  I won a few weeks back from Kate at http://downrightcrafty.blogspot.co.uk/
some beautiful Bluebelle Toppers, and I thought this one would be just perfect, it's already coloured.
My papers are also from Wildrose Studio, from the Bella range
Blue cardstock and silver mirri
MB Frosty Corner die
Britannia Let it Snow dies
The Ribbon Girl Charm and silver cord
Ribbon and glitter domes from my box
Star Dust for sparkle

I hope you like it.   I hope your weekend is going well, I meant to get through loads today, but didn't manage much.  I did however got through some ironing whilst watching "Now Voyager", with the wonderful Bette Davis, I love her films and these old black and white ones are just marvellous.  There is always another day for housework.

Enjoy what is left of your weekend, and I'll see you soon,

I would like to enter my card into: http://craftyhazelnutschristmaschallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2014/07/chnc-challenge-187-cute.html

Beautiful card Kate. Love the papers and the topper. I love the old Bette Davis films and have a few which I watch over and over. There is another fabulous film - its not a Bette Davis but is Greer Garson and Ronald Coleman in Random Harvest - absolutely fantastic - I never get tired of it.

How in the world did you do that "Hugs From Kate: at the bottom? I love it!!! Your Christmas card is so very, very sweet!
Okay kid - what does a sea harr mean. Is it like the "Nessie" ?
Sorry you could not "splash out" -- I first I thought you meant go out into the water!!! You wild and crazy lady, I am sure you will have other opportunities to splash out!

What a great card. I just love those toppers.! I have a set my self and have been hoarding them a bit...just made one card so far. They are hard to find over here, but i tracked some down!

Love the pretty papers and that gorgeous bow. The wee charm is precious too!

I love your signature...is it hard to do? It looks as if you need to be very technical to design!!!

Hi Kate,
a really great Christmas card.
I love that super image it's sooooo! cute.
Great designing as always.
Yes we all have to curve our spending when our hubbies are shopping with us.
I do love to shop for crafty bits on my own, but on the internet I have to use his paypal account so he gets an email every time I spend our money, so I can't hide anything that way. lol.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

What a treat that you got to use some of your lovely win in this tree challenge. The topper is so very cute and loved the snow die in the upper corner and the sentiment die too. Brillant card and I am entranced with your little angel GIF the end of your blog. TFS & Hugs

PS..forgot to say, I love the old B&W movies too, and Voyager is a special favorite. Movies today are not anything like those made in the good ole days, are they? You didn't have to worry about being embarrassed if someone else watched with you! Hugs
