Happy Birthday in Purples!

Good Afternoon to You All and a very warm welcome to all my new followers, thank you for joining my little blog, I hope you will come often and like what you see.

A big thanks to all who commented on my last card, always appreciated.

Well I have had some lovely days off work, and going back tomorrow for three days. I feel rested, and had some time for crafting.  I'm getting no knitting done these days though, I keep looking at it and thinking I must get on with it, but I don't.  I'm in the middle of making a cushion cover, so it's not that it's difficult.

No footy today, so Alistair is getting on with the gardening, and today isn't as hot as yesterday so it's more comfortable to work.  I'm trying not to feel guilty for not helping him, but as much as I love a garden I don't like the work, but he's wired into his IPod so quite happy.

Anyway here is my card for today;
I treated myself to the Tattered Lace mag and used the free die which I think is just lovely.  It's an expensive mag, but I thought the die was worth it.
Promarkers coloured it
Kanban Shaped card blank
Embossed with Embossialicious Folder
Crafter's Companion Vintage Paper cut with Xcut scalloped die
LOTV Sentiment, cut with Marianne die
Purple ribbon from my box
Star Dust and Liquid Pears, Gem from my box

I hope you like it, I think it's turned out not too badly
That's me folks, hope your week is going well.
I Would like to enter my card into http://ilovepromarkers.blogspot.co.uk/2014/07/challenge-226-anything-goes.html

Hi Kate
And what a glorious little garden you have created on your pretty card. Love it!
I do inside and out at chateau canard. . . . . . Mr Duck just does the lawn and hedges outside and empties the bins. . . . . . . .its a hard life if you don't weaken eh lol!
Been gardening today and just sat down with a sarnie and cup of tea in the sunshine.
Enjoy today if you're back at the chalk face tomorrow.
Best wishes.

I used to do the gardening with a little help from the Mr.
Now we are retired, he does it all with a wee bit of help from me!
I still do like to sit and relax in a nice garden though!!!

Your card is beautiful! I will have to Chaco out those magazines as I heard that they sell them at a shop near me.
Beautiful card.

John does the heavy outdoor stuff - I do the planting, weeding etc. Works fine for me .. lol! He's pretty useless inside but very good at DIY, repairs, car maintenance etc. So a pretty fair division of labour I would say. Lovely card Kate. The flowery die cut looks great. Hugs Christine xx
