Gift Bag for Dale!

Good Afternoon Everyone, and I hope you are having a super day.  The weather has been so warm up here, so unusual for the North of Scotland, it's been grand, but I would have preferred it a little cooler, I don't function well in heat.  The good thing is that I've been on my days off, which were lovely, but it's back to work tomorrow and my turn to be doing the cooking, I'll be keeping it simple.

Thank to you so very much for the lovely comments on my last card, I do very much appreciate the time it takes to go around all the blogs. It was also lovely to see some new people commenting, I hope you will come back.

Just a short post today, I've got some ironing to get through, and not a decent old film to spur me along.

I made this little gift bag for my friend Dale and put some fat quarters in it for her.  She loves quilting and all things sewing and makes the most beautiful things.
I've used LC Buttons and Bows stamp set, and coloured with Prismacolour pencils
The Ribbon Girl for hessian and lace
Papermaina Ribbon
Buttons and Pearls from my box
Star Dust.

I have to say Dale loved the fat quarters, and the bag, in fact I noticed that she has everything I've made for her displyed in her sewingroom, isn't that lovely.

Well I can hear Alistair up in the bedroom playing his fiddle, he's learning a new tune, The Lover's Waltz, it's a Jay Ungers tune and I love it.  There is still a few bum notes, but it's coming along well.

I'll sign off now and hope everyone is well, but sending kind thought and hugs to those of you who are not,

Beautiful Bag Kate. Its no wonder that Dale loved it too. Such a thoughtful gift to put inside it too. Lucky you having your very own fiddler. We followed the SFO for years until Andrew felt he could no longer go. In fact John Mason has premises in Troon. Hugs Rita xxxx

A perfect card for a sewer Kate, love all the bits and bobs. I'm sure Dale would have loved her new quarters and will reuse her bag too.
As for the fiddle, hubbys father is a big player too eeeek! Nearly as bad as the pipes! He plays in the front room when we visit whilst the news is on TV.
Bizzare!

Enjoy your weekend, hugs Erika. x

What a great friend to have everything you have made for her displayed in her sewing room. I know you love what she makes for you! The bag is fantastic - not sure how fat a quarter can be but It sounds like you hit the jackpot - or should I say Dale hit the jackppt!!!
