A New Home Card!

Hello Crafty Friends and Visitors, I hope today finds you well and the day has been good to you.

Thank you all so much on the lovely comments on my last card, you are very kind and encouraging.

Days off really go by quickly and tomorrow finds me back at work, and goodness knows what I'll find  changed as that's what is happening these days.  Our Manager who has been off recovering from mouth cancer, and has recovered well thankfully, has been offered redundancy, which she has accepted.  The Area Manager has resigned, and this now leaves all the Highland projects without any senior managers.  I wondered if this would offer the opportunity for restructuring the Highland projects, well guess what!  that's just what is going to happen, and we will be joining up with the statutory mental health services to save money.  So once again we are in a state of flux.  It might mean other redundancies, applying for our jobs, perhaps taking pay cuts, it's all in the lap of the gods.

I've managed to get a bit of crafting done whilst off, neglecting other things I should be doing I have to say, anyway here is a card for my friend Linda who will be getting the keys of her new home soon.
I found the house image in amongst my bits and pieces so, I don't know where it came from,
The papers and little sentiment are from a magazine freebies and from The Little Miracles range from MCS
New Home sentiment another freebie
MB Fabulous Phlox
Golden dome from Papermania and Pearls from my box
Brown Seam Binding from The Ribbon Girl.

When I was editing the photo I added a soft effect to it and that's why it's a wee bit blurry.
That's me for today, enjoy your evening what ever you'er doing, for me, well it's the Brazil v Germany game, but before that the highlights of The Tour de France, oh joy!!

Hi Kate

A lovely new home card .. .. with such a true sentiment!

Sorry that work is being so stressful for you. It seems to be the way of the world at the moment. We try to explain to our kids that it wasn't always like this and hopefully won't be like it for ever .. .. but it certainly seems to be going on for an awful long time :-(

I hope things work out for you as you would wish.

Love Jules xx

Good morning from cold Aussie, Kate I hope making this lovely card has destressed your day a little if not a lot. I find life tough too sweet Kate but it does pass. [I care part time for my 101 1/2 yr old dad, was full time]. So crafting and my beautiful on line friends like yourself make my day....thinking of you and love this creation.xxx

I just wanted to stop by and say hi - my daughter comes in Saturday with her four kids and then on Tuesday we take the two oldest grand daughters out west for an adventure. I am trying to catch up with odds and ends this summer. - don't forget me kid!

Hi Kate,
super New Home card. Love the super design of this.
The colours are fab too.
Hope all goes well on the work front.
Sounds like big changes in the pipeline.
My Son went through one of these sort of changes in his job.
He had to wait for ages to find out if he had a permanent job, even after being there for a few years.
It seems the new thing they do these days.
My daughter had to re-apply for hers too a few years ago.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
