Hello Everyone, hope you are well and enjoyed your weekend, and that your weather is getting more Spring like.
It was the Choral concert on Saturday, we were singing Brahms Requiem, in our Cathedral. What a fabulous evening it was, of course it's a wonderful piece of music to sing, although exhausting, so high for the sopranos, my throat was just about gone by the end of the performance. It was a long day however as we had a practice in the afternoon, but adrenalin gets everyone through it. Sunday was a very quiet day didn't even cook, just had a chippy tea. So that's choral finished for the summer, looking forward to the break.
Here is my card for today,
Here we have the forest friends watching the beautiful starbursts, they are mesmerized by the beautiful sky. Lavinia stamps, Elements Ink, gel pens, and tiny gems, and a Lavinia sticker sentiment.
Well folks that's me for now, take care and see you soon,

The concert sounds wonderful Kate, shame I wasn't closer to attend. Love the scene you created, it's a real delight, love the little story attached too. x
Hi Kate,
what a fantastic card and your inking and stamping are stunning.
Love the wonderful scene you have created.
We here in Kent have gone back to cold weather this last week.
The nights were very cold and the wind was coming from the north and was quite cold.
I always know when it's from the the north as it hits the front of my bungalow as it faces north.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
What a busy yet fulfilling weekend you had! The choral concert sounds absolutely enchanting, and your card captures that same magical essence with the forest friends and starbursts. The combination of Lavinia stamps, Elements Ink, and gel pens truly brings the scene to life. Well done on both fronts, and here's to a well-deserved break after such a splendid performance!
Stunning picture and wonderful sky,
Unfortunately the nearest we got to Inverness was just driving though, we had a lovely trip but oh boy it felt cold, we had some rain and your landscapes are so wet, we did manage to go over to the Orkneys, blowing a nine force4 gale, they were so interesting and a brilliant guild, we were amazed your daffodils were out, thousands of them, ours finished it felt long before we came up. We did visit Dunrobin castle, it was seven days and a lot of travelling with a different hotel nearly every night, I dont sleep much the first night anywhere. It was noticeable that your trees are only just breaking into leaf and as we travelled south the trees was into more leaf and when we got home they are more or less into full leaf. We are hoping to come up again to see some more of scotland. My hubby was saying he did not think he would like Haggis, on the second morning breakfast there was what he thought was black pudding, after trying a bit I was very pleased to inform him it was Haggis, and after that he had it for breakfast every day. We thoroughly enjoyed scotland, hopefully it might be warmer next time.
I adore your nighttime scene with the hare, fox and hedgehog gazing up at the starry sky Kate, it would be difficult to get the snail to do that..lol, and it is beautifully coloured too. Glad your Brahms Requiem went well too. It is a wonderful piece to sing. I did it many years ago, but you are right it is a hard sing. x
