Daydreams Name Page!

Hello Everyone, I hope you are well and that your weekend is going well, a quiet one here but that's okay, sometimes quiet is good.

Thank you again for your lovely comments on my last post, always appreciated, and a warm welcome to my new Follower Sally, delighted that you clicked the button and I hope you manage to visit often and that you continue to like what I post.

Anyhoo, I have an other page to show you'

The name page from Hanna Karlzon's Daydream book, coloured with Crayola and Black Widow pencils and I've also used some gel pens. DI for the background, I wish I hadn't added the black soot around the edges, but hey ho, that's life. I've never been all that good at blending DI and I've got every blending tool under the sun, but it was fun to colour and very therapeutic.

Hanna is a Swedish artist and she has several books and they are all gorgeous, good paper that will take most mediums. I'm eagerly awaiting her latest book Midnight Masquerade, I ordered it a couple of months ago, so it should be with me soon.

Well, that's me for today, I'm off to have a look at what you've all been doing, take care everyone and keep safe,

Hi Kate

Wow!! I am in awe of your amazing colouring.

I would feel quite daunted by having such a large area to colour but I guess it is just like approaching a jig-saw puzzle where the missing pieces are the colours you are going to choose to use.

Loving those toadstools and I think your inking around the edges adds a lovely mysterious element.

Have a good day Kate.

Love Jules xx

Wow Kate this must have taken you forever to colour. I take these on holiday to colour but not this year of course with the Covid virus. Next year I am hoping to get away though. You did a great job and your colouring and shading is so good too. Sorry I am so late relying to comments also ;) Viv xx
