A Cosy Craft Room!

Hello Everyone, I hope you are well and that the week has got off to a good start for you. I'm still trying to work out where last week went to.

We had a quiet weekend, the weather wasn't great, so didn't venture out all the much, and yesterday I couldn't get heated up at all, wrapping myself up in cardigans and socks as I really didn't want to put the heating on....well it is August after all.  I did get another page coloured though, so not all that bad lol.

I thought I would choose a picture that wasn't so challenging this time after the lovely Steampunk girls, but this one was so bitty to colour as there was so many bits to it, however I'm pleased with it. It's coloured with Prismacolour Pencils and some gel pens.

The page comes fro Creative Heaven book and it has some absolutely lovely pages, to do with the home and garden, and although it was fairly inexpensive, about £5, the illustrations are lovely and the paper isn't bad at all, not too much tooth, but enough for layering .I hope you like it.

Thank you for the lovely comments on my CCC cards, as always you are so kind.

That's me for today, time for a spot of lunch, have a lovely day whatever you're up to, take care of yourselves and keep safe,

Great colouring and a great way to relax especially if your weather is not up to par. Here it has been way too hot

Well you are huddling under the blankets and wearing socks and cardies, we are sweltering under a heat wave! Had to sleep downstairs on the first floor for a couple of nights as it was too hot upstairs. Thanks goodness my craft room is on this lowest level too!

Your colouring page looks great. That has been a great way for you to spend some time relaxing!

Love the shading that you have gotten on the table/workbench. We have had rain all day here today so indoors. Ordered my next food shopping and caught up with blogland. Just put the heavier duvet back on the bed for tonight as it is getting nippy. Supposed to be heat wave again tomorrow so might be chucking it off again. Hugs Mrs A.

Kate, this is gorgeous! I could sit in this craft room! I love the soft coloring from the pencils - aren't they a joy! It looks like it could be from a storybook :) I'm glad you are having great weather - stay safe, my friend! Hugs! xx

It’s so hard to relate to your cool weather, Kate, when things are so terrifically hot and steamy here. Sending a little Florida sunshine your way. I honestly thought your beautifully colored page was a magazine cover! How fabulous your coloring skills are! I’ve been reorganizing my dies... a slow process for me lol... and enjoying some cardmaking just for fun these days. This week I’ve regained a bit of energy, so I spend a 5 minute morning segment pruning our rapidly growing shrubbery. Jack has our new green house completed, and he is now building the shelves on the inside. Been reading quite a bit, and resting a lot. Still struggling with resting because it feels like I’m wasting time, but Jack reminds me it’s not wasting time if my body needs it. Hugs, de

A super colouring page Kate, it does look a bit bitty to colour but you did it beautifully - that desk is a lot more tidy than my craft desk!

Beautiful colouring Kate and love all the pretty colours of this craft room scene. I wish my space looked as good as this..lol. The temperature now here at the end of the month has become very cool, even feeling a little cool when first in bed. Just hope that it is going to get a bit warmer again before the autumn definitely sets in. x
