Pink Lilies!

Hello Everyone, hope today sees you well and managing to cope with the snow and bitter cold weather that the country is experiencing just now.  Thankfully, Inverness hasn't too much snow, most of it having disappeared but, it is perishing cold. So make sure you are being safe and keep warm.

Thank you all so much for your lovely comments on my last card, I do appreciate each and everyone of them.

I've got one of my Crafty Individual GDT cards today;
Using stamp CI-149 which you can find here, I stamped on to black card and heat embossed with CE white powder. I also stamped twice in order to cut out a couple of the flowers and decoupaged on to the little panel. The background paper is also from CI, Travels in Italy paper pad and that can be found here. The card base is  a lovely grey one from Dovecraft.  Watercolours are the medium of choice and SN sparkle pen to give a bit of shimmer, then a few pearl hearts to finish off.

It's a short post this time, hoping to get round to visiting your blogs before Shetland comes on. I was all set to watch it last night, to find that it had been changed to put football on. I get so angry at that, quite spoiled my night it did, anyway unless there is a power cut, I'll be watching it tonight.

So till next time, take care of yourselves,

You’re not kidding about it being cold Kate, it’s bitter. We’ve had much more snow today in Yorkshire, coupled with biting winds too. There was a brief dry spell with sunshine today for about half an hour when my three year old Granddaughter begged me to go out and play in the snow with her and I just couldn’t resist. It’s rare that we get this much snow and she won’t be small forever. Anyway, we put on the layers and got out the sledge and had several snowball fights. She then decided that it was too cold and that she wanted to go in and do some crafting.......I’ve taught her well ;). I’ve digressed, so moving on to your card, it’s gorgeous and that’s not a stamp that I’m familiar with. I like the way that you’ve just chosen to add colour to a small part of the image, it looks really effective. I’m loving your CI samples. Take care and stay warm. Crafty hugs, Sandra x

A lovely card Kate, love all the different layers in particular, the beautiful embossing on the black card. A very pretty image too. We have quite a lot of snow here, so haven't ventured out today, the log fire was too inviting lol! Stay warm and snug Kate.

You created a beautiful topper Kate, love the splash of pink and that it is the reverse of your base card, we have about 5-6 inches of snow lying here and it is freezing

Hi Kate

Hope you are still managing OK with the weather .. .. never known weather like this!

Loving the embossing on your card and how you have decoupaged on the small panel .. .. great finished look.

My Mum hates it when she switches the TV on for her programmes only to be faced with football!

Have a good day.

Love Jules xx
