Dandelion Wishes!

Good Evening Everyone, I hope you've all had a pleasant day.
Friday's come around again so quickly, it all goes too fast for me, time that is. We are hoping for some good weather tomorrow and we will go a run up to Dornoch where there is a lovely beach and some good coffee shops. If it's raining it might well be a crafting day, we'll see.

Thank you all for the lovely comments on my last card, I appreciate all of them.

I've a card to share with you;

I was watching Sheena Douglass the other day and she was creating a background with SN Aqua Pens and a little bit of glycerin, and I thought that looks good, so I bought some glycerin and and had a go and I'm really pleased with the effect. I next used this beautiful Crafty Individual's stamp of the little girl, and then framed here with one of John Next Door Dandelion stamps from the Summer Flowers set. I heat embossed them with White EP.
The Sentiment is from CB's McIntosh Words set.
The card has been edged with Hickory Smoke DI, then a few sequins added to finish it off.

I think the stamps go really well together, and if I say so myself I am rather pleased with how this has turned out, I hope you like it too.  Another card for my box, it's a card that would do any occasion I think.

Well it's almost time to hit the hay, it's been a long day as I was up very early to let Teallach in, he seemed a bit distressed, so I think something or someone must have spooked him, he is an awfully scardy cat, as he is a wee rescue cat I don't know about his early life as he came to use when he was one year.  He settled down once he was indoors.

So, I hope you all have a lovely weekend whatever you are doing, see you soon,

Hi Kate
Beautiful way of using John's stamps. Definitely a multi occasion stamp.
Poor T Boy. Hope he doesn't get you up early again tomorrow..... I'd say give him his own key but they never close doors behind them lol!
Have a great weekend.

This is gorgeous Kate. I missed the show and the technique too, so I'm curious to know how you've used the glycerine with the Aqua markers. You should be proud of your card because it's a real beauty and the various stamps do work in total harmony with each other. Enjoy your weekend. Crafty hugs, Sandra x

This is beautiful, love the inky background, it sets off the stamping beautifully. Poor Teallach, it's so hard when we don't know what they've experienced before they choose to live with us. Parsley bun has a scar on his top lip and I always wonder if he was attacked or if he caught it on something as he was handed into the rescue as a stray. Hope you are having a lovely weekend x

Wonderful card, Kate. Love the border around the little girl and the inking you did. Yep, could be used for a lot of occasions.

When our daughter was little we had an all black cat, he used to walk across the piano on Saturday mornings when we could sleep in to wake us up!!

I adore the blue and yellow background Kate and I haven't tried the glycerin yet but the colours have blended together beautifully and the silhouette image in black really stands out and I love the way you have framed it with the white dandelions which draws your eye in to the sweet little girl. x
