Sending Smiles!

Good Evening to Everyone and I hope you are well and have had a good day. I felt stunned earlier on today to be told that tomorrow was Saturday...this week has gone by in a flash, I really want it to slow down.  I remember whilst I was still at work, there were days there that I thought would never end, kept clock watching and thinking that the hands of the clock were at a standstill, and now they are just whizzing around.

Thank you all for the lovely comments on my Kindle cover, you are very kind.

I've got a card tonight,
Image and sentiment from Little Claire, and I've coloured it with Faber-Castell Pastel Pencils, the papers are from LC too and I've added a little sunflower from WO, some ribbon, pearls and glitter and that's that.

A short post this time around, so I'll love you and leave you and hope your weekend is a good one,

That's the joy of retirement, Kate - the hours/days/months/years just pass in a flash! I bet you wouldn't have it any other way - better to be busy and happy than clock watching, don't you think. I like the image on your card, it looks as though you could have drawn it by hand. Lovely colours too. Hope you have a great weekend. Elizabeth xx

Hi Kate,
yes don't the weeks and days go by so fast when you are retired.
It makes you think how you found time to go to work.
I think maybe it's just we slow down as we don't have to rush to do things anymore.
Love your wonderful card and the scene is so lovely.
Wonderfully coloured also.
Have a super weekend.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
