Hello to You All, I hope you are all well and keeping cosy in this downturn of cooler weather. Our weather has been a shocker.
Thank you all so much for your lovely comments on my last project, you are all so kind and I do appreciate the time you take to visit.
Well it's time once again for the Christmas Card Club girls to share their cards and this time around the theme has been chosen by our lovely Mary and she would like to see the Nativity, so here is what I've come up with;
I've used an old image found in my stash from Hunkydory and added a piece of musical score behind it. I also added a shooting star from Britannia Dies.
For my second card I've used this rather lovely silhouette image from Little Claire, heat embossed, and although not showing up well the background is made with DI, meant to be a dark sky. The mirri card knocks the photo all off, I've added plenty of sparkle too.
I hope these will be okay Mary, thanks you for the image, this particular one is alway a challenge for me, takes me out of my comfort zone.
Scheduling this for Sunday when I hope you will also visit the other girls on the team as I know their cards will be fabulous.
Signing off for now and see you soon,

HI there Kate, sorry not to have been around to look at your blog this last week been busy doing a portrait of a dog for a friend. All done now.
Goodness seeing Christmas cards I realise the time is going so quick.
Great couple of cards I have to say.
Raining here but not enough for the garden yet. Getting quite dry here in North Devon which is strange.
Have a great Bank Holiday weekend

Another two classy and beautiful cards for your stash and what a beautiful theme x
Lovely cards Kate, I especially like the bottom image. Need to look for that one. Hugs, Shaz XX
What better way to remember the Christmas season than with a Nativity card. Yours are really nice Kate and how apropos to use music sheet as a background. I know how much you love the Christmas concert you Chorale celebrates.

A lovely traditional image set off beautifully against your sky backdrop. Do hope that May will decide to warm up. I am so fed up with thick woollies and scarves to keep warm. Hugs ValeryAnne.
Brilliant cards Kate - love the little claire one especially! Big huggles Rachel x
Hi Kate
A delightful festive twofer.
I really should make a start on mine rather than waiting until the last minute and ending up blogging them into May again lol!
Hope you enjoyed watching Imagination Crafts.

Love both your traditional Christmas cards Kate. Two different designs, both beautiful. No rain here today, a little sun but still quite cold, roll on the Summer is all I can say lol! Enjoy your Holiday Monday.

These are both stunning. Mirri card is a swine to photo isn't it! Not even started on my Christmas cards this year... Cara x
A beautiful traditional nativity scene on your first card. The musical score behind it is so perfect here.
The second card is such a lovely silhouette on a gorgeous inky background!
Both cards are so lovely. What a beautiful scene the first one depicts and the papers you chose for the background are wonderful.
Second card is equally as beautiful, Kate with that inky background.
Our weather has turned cold and we had tornado watch all day today which thankfully turned into high winds and torrential rain for a bit, but we have had enough rain this Spring already.
Hugs
Sue
Super cards Kate. Zx
Beautiful Christmas cards Kate! I love the image on the first one, it's so vintage looking, perfect for a holiday card. The wrinkled music sheet is a wonderful addition and I love the metallic shooting star on top! The second card is beautiful with all the shimmer and metallic layers. Simple and elegant, just amazing!!
Our weather has also been cool here, but we've been getting a lot of rain which keeps the air cooled off and I'm alright with that. After the horrible drought we had last year, I welcome the rain any time we have it. sending hugs :)
