Just a Note! CB Colour Challenge 22!

Hello Everyone, it's lovely to see you here and I hope you will leave a comment and I can go and visit you.

A big thank you to all my lovely followers who left such kind comments on my last cards for the CCC.  I'm getting a fair pile of Christmas cards now, but of course there will always be one for someone needed at the last minute and having to rush to get it made.

Anyway, it's not a Christmas card today, but a lovely Spring like one for the Chocolate Baroque Colour Challenge 22;

And here are the colours to follow;
Fabulous colours and I just saw daffodils when I first saw them.

I used the lovely Daffodil Script from CB and coloured it with the gorgeous Gansai Tambi Starry Colours Watercolour paints, and also colours from the original colour pallet.  My background is the same watercolours swooshed on to Yupo Paper and some orange card. Sentiment from CB McIntosh Sentiments and butterfly flourish from Signature Dies. Finished off with a few gems.

I would like to enter this card into; http://chocolatebaroquechallenge.blogspot.co.uk/2016/04/challenge-twenty-two.html

Well we didn't have the weather with us yesterday although it started out well in Inverness, but it was really chilly and showery in Ullapool. The boats weren't sailing till today, and I doubt we would have gone anyway as the price was £35 each. Thought that was just too pricey.  So what to do?? So we went for a run further along the coast, that took us up until after lunch time, came back to Ullapool and had wonderful fish and chips siting at the harbour, oh but they were tasty, the seagulls eyed us, but we just ignored them.  It wasn't a wasted day in the end and it meant I didn't have to cook in the evening.  And just to top it all I spied four Red Kites, and a Buzzard, and a huge seal playing in the harbour, then following a fishing boat out.

I'm away behind with commenting, so please forgive me, I will try and catch up.

That's me for now, enjoy your evening and see you soon,

It's a lovely Spring creation with the lovely CD image Kate and the delicate die really draws the eye to the focal element.

A beautiful card Kate. I love the way you've laid the diecut over the daffodil image. Lovely design and colour.

It sounds as if you had a lovely day yesterday although you didn't go sailing. I love fish and chips and they always taste even better at the seaside. I remember taking my Mum on holiday to Brighton many years ago and we bought chips every morning to throw to the gulls from the pier. I think it's always a treat not to have to cook dinner in the evening. Barbxx

This is a perfect card for the colour challenge Kate and I really like the use of the die cut used over the card, it finishes it off beautifully. It sounds like you had a wonderful day out. We had a holiday in Gairlich a few years back and had a Day trip to Ullapool. It was such a lovely day and was one of our best holidays ever, and we hope to go back there some time. Take care. Sandra :)X

I too am always behind in something -- oh well better that than nothing to do. I love good fish and chips! I also love going out for a nice lunch and then not having to cook dinner!
Your card is lovely - such beautiful colors! I am afraid we will not be getting daffodils here in Florida. I had loads and loads of daffodils planted in our yard in North Carolina.

First have to say what a lovely day out that you mentioned. To see all that wildlife and also have a lovely time is a bonus!

Your card is lovely. I like that diecut you added at the isde. IT has such a feeling of movement in it and accents your pretty image!

Will eventually get back to club cards. For now I will just post cards I had on hand. Mom is in congestive heart failure now and it is a struggle to keep her pneumonia at bay. It keeps returning.

Eldest still keeps us busy too as she needs rides to work and doctor. She can not drive for 3 or 4 more weeks till the doctor clears her ankle as OK to drive.lives a long drive from us (45 min) so it is taking up time from crafting! lol

You've met that color challenge brilliantly with this lovely daffodil card. Such warm glows from the rich deep yellows, and daffs are such a sweet flower too. Adding the spray of butterflies, with the script behind the flower, more yummies, and I really like the soft sponging on the background too. Sorry you missed the boat ride due to the weather, but sounds as though you had a fun day just the same. Fish & chips over the harbor sounds just delicious to me...and not having to cook...even bettah! TFS & Hgus
