Vintage Wine!

Hello Friends and all who pop in to see me, you are all very welcome and thank you for the lovely comments left on my last  card, you are all very kind.

It's my son's birthday today, I can hardly believe is is now 44, where has the time gone, it seems no time since he was brand new. If only I could have slowed time down. Anyhow here is the card I made for him;
Damian is very fond of cheese and wine, so this image from Just inklined was just the ticket and it's coloured with Prismacolour Pencils with a touch of WOS, although it doesn't show up.
SB Decorative Circles and DI.

He and Moreen popped in on the way back from a day watching the Husky racing in Aviemore, and are have a birthday Indian Takeaway tonight. Damian does low key birthdays.

Alistair and I are going to see the Huskies after our walk tomorrow. I think rain is forecast though, but we'll just go for it.

This is just a quick post tonight, enjoy your weekend whatever you're doing, cheerio for now.

Hi Kate
Well isn't that just a perfect card for a cheese and wine lover. . . . . .a man after my own heart lol!
I'm not adverse to a good curry either so I hope they enjoy theirs.
Best wishes.

PS. . . . . 44 is very young lol!

Aww, Kate, loved this post. I could not agree more, it does not seem possible that our daughter was 45 in November. The years pass so quickly when you are busy trying to make a living, and taking care of your family.

Wonderful card, with two of his favorite things, know he will enjoy it. Enjoy the huskies.

Hugs
Sue

A lovely card Kate perfect for a man who likes his wine. Great dies.
We were going to see the huskies too but the weather wasn't great so stayed nearer to home, maybe next year?

Hope you enjoyed your indian meal?

Hi Kate

Stranger alert!!

I am trying really hard to catch up with everyone .. .. but not getting very far :-(

A lovely card for your Son with a great image. I bet he loved it. I hope he had a happy day.

I know what you mean about slowing time down. I thought my lads would be babies and toddlers for ages but they grew up in the blink of an eye. I often dream they are young again .. and it is lovely!! It isn't that I didn't make the most of them when they were young .. .. I just thought it would last much, much longer.

Hope you are having a good week.

Love Jules xx
