Winter Wonderland for the Christmas Card Club!

Good Evening one and All, has it been been a good Saturday for you, hope so.   They go all too quickly don't they.  We have had a mixture of weather, warm and sunny then showers and quite dull at times, as it didn't know what to do for the best.

There are quite a few of our blogging friends who are experiencing difficult time through illness, either themselves or their loved ones, so just want to send out (((((Hugs))))) and positive thoughts to you all for a good recovery.

Thank to all who commented on my "Oldie" yesterday, very kind of you.

I'm scheduling this card for tomorrow morning when the cards from the CCC go live.

A rather alternative Winter Wonderland as it's quite pink and lilac.  The paper and image are freebies from a Making Cards Magazine, cut with Xcut scalloped circles and matted on to Bazill white Swiss Dot Card, Lace from Hobby Craft.
Silver Card Candy and Star Dust on the snowy parts
Sentiment from Creative Stamping magazine, free stamp
Embossialious Embossing folder
Snowy Acetate
The Ribbon Girl Silver Twine and Bell Charm
Snow Pearls from my stash

This weeks theme was chosen by Christine of http://christinescardsandcrafts.blogspot.co.uk/
and what a fabulous challenge it is.
The other members of the club will be along to show their creations too.

We really enjoyed our concert last night, we had a mixture of Wagner, Schoenberg, and Mahler, and two fantastic soloists sing the Mahler pieces, a lovely way to spend an evening.

I'll say Good Night now as Alistair has made a cuppa and I think I see a wee bit of chocolate, yummmmmm.

I really like your pink and lilac winter scene Kate I think it works really well. Sometimes having an alternative colour scheme is very refreshing, we all seem to get in a rut using the same colours for Christmas I think. Fab card.

Afternoon Kate - sounds like you had a lovely evening. There is something so nice, special and relaxing about sitting down and enjoying live classical music - we used to go to the Barbican a lot when we lived in London.
A really pretty in pink and lilac Christmas card which is right up my street. Love that image and the way you have coloured the background and adorned the front of the card - it is stunning! Love every little detail Karen x

Kate, this is lovely. Love the way you've framed that snowy village with the elegant lace behind it. I really liked the way you did the front with the embossing and the cutout - to view the interior snowscape. Brillant design and that marbled design paper is gorgeous. TFS & Happy Sunday.

Two super cards Kate. There is nothing quite like tea and chocolate and even better when the tea is made for you.
