Twig Wreath!

Hello again!!

I was determined to have a play with some of my new buys and also whilst I could still remember what I had seen demonstrated, the old memory fails sometimes.

Here is what I've been up to this afternoon in between making a big pan of Lentil Soup;
I've tried to replicate the twigg wreath that I watched the demonstrator make with Card-io Stamps, and it's not bad for a first attempt.
The Stamps used are from;
Deck the Halls
Oriental blossom
Combinations Collections
Sentiment is a freebie from the stamp set in Creative Stamper
Glossy Accents
Fluffy Stuff
Glamour Dust
A bit of freehand drawing.

Hope you like it, I was very taken with the Cardi-io designs and like the unfussiness of it.

That's me, take care everyone and enjoy the rest of your Sunday.

Hello Kate. Wonderful twig wreath. Lentil soup sounds great. We had Cullen Skink for lunch and it was delicious too. Nothing to beat home made soup. Hugs Rita xxx

Great first make, you see even Patricia things your stash got bigger on the way home, I haven't had a minute to myself to even photo my goodies. Rebecca (big grand daughter) asked if her daddy could bring her and Lauren over and would I show them how to make a Oragami box, what could I say. Then Gillian came and had me box making for button necklaces she had made. Be glad to go to work tomorrow for a rest. Hazel xx

A brilliant card Kate love the twig wreath and slight sparkle. Looks like you had a great time, I'm sorry I couldn't make it. You have bought very similar things to what I normally get dies, Lavinia stamps and Cardio stamps. They always look great being demonstrated! Susan x

Hi Kate,
fab card. Love that fab wreath., and those Christmas lights. Fabulous just fabulous.
On to your soup you should get yourself an electric soup maker it makes Lentil Soup in 21 mins. My daughter bought me mine last Christmas, and it's a God send as you can make soup so quick with it.
I make a frozen mixed veg and lentil one it's so easy just put all the ingredients in it and it cooks and blends it too.
Have a wonderful crafty evening.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Hi Kate

It must have been a hard choice knowing which of your lovely new goodies to open up first!!

Loving what you have done here .. .. I know what you are saying though. You see things being demonstrated and they make it look so simple .. .. and then we get home and think "what did they do?!?!?" LOL!!

Have a good day.

Love Jules xx
