A New King!
Good Afternoon to you all and I hope you are all well and having a lovely weekend. The weather up here in Inverness is just glorious, I've just been sitting in the garden reading and it was too hot. Just wouldn't believe the weather just now, Indian Summer or what! I hope the weather is good where you are.
Alistair is away for a cycle around the Moray Firth, been a way since early morning, he'll be puggled when he gets back.
Thank you all for the lovely comments on my last card, and I'll be putting up the winner of the LOTV voucher when Alistair gets back as he will pull the name out of the hat.
I'm so pleased so many of you took part, it's been a pleasure to follow your blogs over the last year too. lots of fabulous inspiration from you.
I would like to welcome my latest follower, Gerrie, it's lovely to have you here and I hope you will continue to visit. I have noticed that there are one or two folk who have joined to follow, but have never commented, or commented once, never to bee seen again, that's a pity, I do hope you will come again, but I do understand that you might not be keen on what I do all the time, and it is a big commitment to keep visiting the blogs.
On to my card now,
Sorry the close up is a bit blurred, but you get the idea.
Little Claire Nativity Set Stamp
Watercolour Pencils and DI
Kraft Card Core'dination Black Card
Papermania and LOTV Papers
Star from a CD (can't remember which one)
Glamour Dust for a bit of Sparkle.
I kept the embellishments low key as I wanted to focus on the scene, the sheep are part of the stamp set.
I won the stamp set the other year from LC and this is the first time I've used them, not too bad for a first attempt at creating a scene, but I can see how it could be bettered, anyway I hope you like it.
I will be back later to announce the candy winner, see you soon

Peace on Earth!
Good Evening blogging Friends, I hope you are well, and if not I'm sending out hugs in the hope they will make you feel a little better.
Sorry not to have managed commenting on your blogs the last couple of days. On Tuesday Alistair and I went to Glasgow to see the Jack Vetriano Exhibition, it was a long day but we enjoyed it, and yesterday I had my return to work meeting, which I didn't enjoy, and left my head buzzing.
However, I will be back at work next week with a very slow phased return, which will take up to 14 weeks to get back to full time. The Area Manager and the very new Operational Manager have followed all the recommendations stated by the OH doctor, so the outcome was good from that aspect of things, however I will do the best I can when I return, but it's going to be very difficult stepping over the threshold after 5 months. I do know I can't to full time work for much longer, especially this sort.
So with all that going on, I felt it was too much to catch up on all the blogs so have started fresh today, and what lovely creations I've seen.
Thank you all for all your lovely comments on my Autumn Cornucopia card, and I certainly hope you all visit to see this one as this is the 1st. Blogging Anniversary Card and one lucky person will win the LOTV gift voucher.
So without more ado here it is;
Nicecrane image from Exotic Asia range
LOTV Kraft Christmas and Frosty Christmas papers
Core'dination Brown Card
Glitter Card
Die'sire Sentimentals Sentiment
Sb Aster Flower die
Chinese coin
Hobby Craft Ribbon
The Hobby House Pearls
Glamour Dust in Silver
I just love these images and was lucky enough to be given them by Ignacio from Nicecrane Designs to use.
I don't really think it's necessarily a Christmas image, but there is snow and a deer so good enough for me.
I do hope you will visit and leave a comment, especially as it then means I can return the visit to you.
Have a good evening and see you soon

Autumn Cornucopia!
Hello to You All, hoping that it's been a lovely Sunday for you, whatever you've been doing.
Another quiet day for us here, although we managed a walk around the canal, but nothing much in the way of wildlife, the canal used to have lots of lovely birds and of course swans, but they of course maybe away by now. I remember, a few years back there was a pair of black swans, and they were just gorgeous, they stayed for quite a while too, then we heard that one of them had been shot, it made our local paper, so many people upset by it, and as they pair for life it was really so awful. The other swan disappeared too.
I can never understand cruelty to animals, and our laws are far too lenient on the culprits, in my opinion.
Off my soapbox now.
Thanks so much for visiting me and leaving such kind comments, I know it takes time so I really do appreciate it.
My card today is another Autumn one;
The image is from Robyn's Fetish digi Stamps
Promarkers
Kraft card
Core'dinations
LOTV Country Lady Paper
DI Spiced Marmalade
Sizzix Leaves Dies
Xcut floral punch
Hobby Craft Ribbon
Card Candy
Star Dust
Couldn't decide on a sentiment so left that for now. I'm really liking making these Autumn cards, I just love the shades.
Is everyone watching the return Downton tonight? I'm still not over the Christmas Day episode, that was a shocker. Anyway I've booked my spot for the TV, Alistair doesn't like these dramas, but I put up with footy, I always point out.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday, whether it's Downton or not and see you soon,

A Little Wonky Tree!
Hello Everyone, well it's Friday again, honestly where does the week go, I swear they get faster.
I hope you are all well and looking forward to the weekend with some really nice things planned. I've nothing much planned, maybe a drive somewhere at the weekend, although we are going to Glasgow next week as Alistair wants to see the Jack Vetriano exhibition at the Kelvingrove Art Gallery. I live some of his art work too so it should be a lovely day out, we will travel in style on the Gold Bus, where refreshments abound, and all for 50p booking fee.
Thank you once again for the very kind comments on my last card, I'm so pleased that you keep coming back to visit, and remember it's only a week now to my anniversary so remember to comment on the card of that day. I just have to remember and have a card ready to post.
So on to my card for today;
A lovely little image from Bugaboo Digi Stamps
Promarkers
Die'sire Embossalicious Holly floder
DI in Evergreen
Xcut die
Silver Mirri
Hobby Craft Lacey Ribbon
Dovecraft Pearls and Gem
Star Dust for sparkle
A very simple little number but I think it's quite effective and easy to do
Thanks for visiting and have a great weekend

Fall Float Mouse!
Good Evening Everyone, I hope you are all well and that your day has been good.
Not a lot happening here, we had a spot of lunch with our friend Ken today, so that was an hour of funny stories from the canoe trip and a bit of politics. Then a quick look into the craft shop didn't buy anything, so felt pleased with myself for that, cos really I don't need anything.
Thank you once again for all the lovely comments on my previous card, keep them coming please I love reading them, and really appreciate you time to do this.
I've been playing around with my blog again, and have managed to add a signature, why? well why not!. I had got it into my head that I wanted one and it's also a little bit more techie know how. Now what I'm after is an animated one, but that might take a while.
Anyway, here is my card for today;
Isn't he just so cute!
Stampendous House Mouse Stamp
Sentiment and small leaf stamps from freebies from Creative Stamping Magazine
Promarkers
DI in various Autumn shades for background
SB Embossing Folder
Centura Pearl card
Kraft Card
Core'dinations Card
Xcut lables die
The RibbonGirl Brown Seam Binding and Gold Ribbon
Hobby House and Papermania Gems
Copper and Star Dust Stickles
This is my first House Mouse stamp and I think I will be wanting more of them, apart from the lovely images they are fantastic stamps to use. I kind of streered clear of these images as we have a mice problem at work, but I'm sold now.
Thanks for visiting me here, have a good evening and see you soon

Birthday Presents!
Good Evening Everyone, hoping all is well with you and that your day has been a good one.
Chilly here today, and a few big showers of rain, just as I put towels out to dry. However, just been out to bring them in and couldn't believe that they were dry. So that's some electricity saved not using the tumble drier.
Thank you all so much for your lovely comments on my crossover card, and also for the tips offered by a few of you about how to do them. I know they are really simple, and I'll get the next one with two points.
I've noticed a couple of new people who have commented, so thank you to them and I hope you will come back, and I plan to pop over and have a look at what you make.
Again, just a short post, so here is tonight's card;
Oh that looks a wee bit fuzzy to me.
LOTV Image and Sentiment
Promarkers
Xcut Die Dhapes
Core'dination Lilac Card
First Edition Dreamcatcher Papers
Dovecraft heart Doily
DI Dusty Concord
Hobby Craft Lace
SB Aster Die
Liquid Pearls in Mint Green
Pearl from my box
Star Dust for a little sparkle
After seeing all the lovely cards with the Aster Die on them I was desperate to have them, and I am not disappointed, lovely to use.
Have a good evening, I'm off to do a bit of clearing up and then settle to watch Professor Brian's new programme. I do like the way he presents science, makes those of us who are a bit numptish feel that we can understand it.
Bye for now

Mr. and Mrs. Snowman!
Good Evening Friends, I hope you are well and have had a good day what, ever you've been doing.
Aren't the days drawing in, it's almost dark here and it's only 7.30, I would say the Autumn is well and truly here.
Thank you all for the lovely comments on my last card, so pleased you liked it. I'm still sticking the icicles on it though, I find a few lying on the table and have to get the glue out again, I now remember why I don't use them all that much, just too awkward to get them to stick on and stay.
Alistair and Ken returned yesterday having really enjoyed themselves, even although it was hard going as there was just the two of them. They enjoyed their curry when they stopped in Kirkintilloch the first evening and Alistair was able to meet up with is old school friend for the evening. It's good to have him back.
Just a short post tonight, nothing much to report, it's been a quiet day really for me, a little bit of crafting and some ironing. Here is my offering for today,
I decided to try my hand at a crossover card, I've seen so many of you making them and I think they are so lovely and different. So here is my first attempt, not bad really except it was meant to be crossed at both sides, and even going on You Tube to watch a tutorial, I still managed to cut with the pointy bits top and bottom, if that makes sense. Hence just the one crossover. I'll get better.
The image I was given by one of my crafty friends the other year, I don't know the make.It was already coloured.
SB Christmas Embossing Floder
DI in Dusty Concord
Core'dinations Purple Card
Papermania Paper, and Glitter Card again from last year
MB Snowflake Corner and Frosty Border
Hobby Craft gold lace
The Ribbon Girl Dazzler
Dovecraft Purple Gems
Creative Expressions Glitter Jewels Snow
That's all from me tonight, enjoy your evening, it's back to the crafting table for me, I've just heard football on the tv.
See you soon, Hugs Kate x

Snow Friends!
Hello Blogging Friends, I hope you are well.
Here we are at the start of another week, the time is fairly romping by and getting colder, at least it is up here in the North of Scotland, definitely time to look out the winter woollies.
Thank you so much for the lovely comments that you made on yesterday's card, I know it takes time to get round the blogs so I do appreciate your time.
I may have a return to work meeting within the next couple of days, so my blogging time will be curtailed if I'm to go back to work, however it has been what has kept me going over the last few months, and I thank you all for your supporting advice and kind words. I'm still in limbo at the moment, it's still stressful but I think it will be at an end soon, one way or another.
On to my card of the day,
I saw this image on one of our Blogging Friends a few weeks ago and fell in love with the image and had to have it, I could just see the friends who would love it as their Christmas card. I am really sorry that I can't remember who posted it, I've had a look through the blogs of who I thought it might have been, but for the life of me I can't find it. Please forgive if I've completey copied yours, I hope not, but I do remember that |I loved it.

No word from the Adventurers yet, but they should be home sometime this evening.
Enjoy the rest of your day

Enchanted Fairy!
Good Afternoon to you All, and what an awful day with wet weather it is here, in fact it's pretty much over the whole country. I am thinking particularly about Rachel who will be running in the Great North Run, at the moment, well perhaps she will be finished now, but I do hope the weather is better there. Of course my Alistair and his friend Ken are canoing the Forth and Clyde Canal this weekend, so goodness knows how they are getting on, expected back tomorrow evening sometime.
Patricia, Hazel and Elaine had a lovely afternoon yesterday, lots of chatting and laughing and not a bad lunch.
Would you believe that we went into a craft shop but didn't buy anything!! It is just so lovely to meet up with them again and we were able to make some travel plans for our visit to Birmingham in November. Gosh that's almost here.
Thank you all so much for your lovely comments on my last card, I love to receive them and appreciative of each one.
Just a short post today as I have to do some techie work on the PC as I keep getting messages telling me that my virtual memoring is reducing, well let me tell you that the reality memory is also reducing, but will I have some grey cells left, I'd better investigate what this means and see if I can fix it.
So, without more ado here is my card,
Now I'd sent this one to Tracey at CCAYR to put on the mid month reminder post, but she hasn't shown it, so I'm thinking it wasn't just quite right to be shown, but I'm putting it on here. but do pop in the CCAYR and see what the other DTs have created, there are some lovely inspirational cards on view.
This one has been made with Papermainia's Enchanted Christmas range from last year.

Lots of sparkle on her wings.
Yes the more I look at it, the more I can see why Tracy didn't show it. I couldn't photograph it all that well and I think that's the trouble, oh well, live and learn.
Enjoy the remainder of your Sunday

Topper,Velum and sentiment
MB Snowflake Corner
SB Snowflake
The swirls a friend gave me
Hobby craft lace
gems from my box
Lots of sparkle on her wings.
Yes the more I look at it, the more I can see why Tracy didn't show it. I couldn't photograph it all that well and I think that's the trouble, oh well, live and learn.
Enjoy the remainder of your Sunday

Teddy Baby!
Hello Everyone, I hope today finds you well and your weather has been good. Ours hasn't been too bad, but it is chilly. I'm afraid the heating is now well and truly on.
Well my Adventurer got off nice and early, so it's a free weekend for me, I can watch what I like eat when I like and what, oh the opportunities are just endless. I think tomorrow is to be good weatherwise but Sunday will be a bit of a wash out by all accounts, don't envy the boys. Just before they left Alistair was rummaging around for his umbrella, strange thing I thought to be taking, I mean how do you paddle holding an umbrella!
Anyway, it would seem that it's not to shelter from the rain, but to use to hepl propel them along when there is wind, so one will paddle and the other hold out the brolly. I can just picture it, especially going through bandit country in Glasgow.
I've fiddling around on the PC trying to do techie things, like a sticky post, don't know yet if I've managed it yet, I'll find out when I post this one. I've also been trying to work out how to put a fancy signature at the end of my post, not mastered that one yet though. Now none of these things really matter and I won't be devastated if they don't work, but I just like to think that I'm learning something new.
Anyhow here is today's card,
Michele Marsden Baby Stamp Collection
Promarkers
Embossialicious Floral Folder
Scraps of Paper and card from my bit box
Tonic punch for flower
Buttons and gems from my box
Papermaina Bow
Glamour Dust
I'm now off to forage for something to eat, then settle down for Corrie, thank goodness the Karl storyline is coming to an end, I thought he was going to get away with his crime......Kate it's not real, it's only a drama get a grip!!!
Thank you all for your lovely comments on my last card, and I hope you pop in today to have a look at today's offering.
Hugs Kate x

I Saw Three Ships!
Hello Blogging Friends, How are you all this evening, feeling good I hope, but for those of you who are not feeling too well, ending good wishes and hugs.
You might have noticed that I have put a countdown to my Blog Anniversary on the side of my page, well I just can't believe I've been blogging for almost a year, and how much pleasure Iv'e received from it. Not only have I met some super folk both in reality but also in cyberspace too, and of course I hope to meet some of you in a couple of month's time at the Birmingham NEC, but, what a wealth of crafting and PC knowledge I've learned through you all too. I really began this blogging lark in order to have a record of my cards and I't grown so much more than that.
So to say Thank You for sharing your friendship and committment I would like you to help me celebrated my 1st. Anniversary, by joining in and commenting on Friday 27th Sept.My lovely assisstant, Alistair will pick a number and that blogging friend will win the LOTV Voucher. Obviously you must be a Follower.
Is this all making sense, I don't do the random thingy, or the sticky post, but will rimind everyone at the start of each post I make until that date.
Phewwww!! That's done, now on to my card,
Little Claire I Saw Three Ships Stamp comes with Sentiment
Promarkers
SB Oval Florals Dies
Hunkydorky Adorable Scorable card
Core'dination Brown Card
Papermainia Christmas in the Country Paper
The Ribbon Girl Brown Seam Binding and Dazzeler
Buttons and Gems from my box
Waterfall Stickles
When I first saw this stamp which is one of LC's latest Christmas stamps, I though it was so diffferent and had to have it, I think it's turned out quite nicely.
Thank you everyone who visited and left commentd on my last card, very much appreciated cos I know it takes quite a bit of time to get round all the blogs.
You've heard of Golf Widows, well I'm to be a Canoe Widow over the weekend as Alistair is away canoing part of the Forth and Clyde canal. There is only going to be two of them this time, for one reason or another most of the boys have pulled out, so it's just my boy and Ken.
However, I have some lovely ladies coming for a visit on Saturday, yes, Patricia of Summerhouse Crafts and Hazel of Baskets of Joy, and their friend Elaine of The Tearoom( for those who follow Patricia's blog will know of) and I'm really looking forward to seeing them and catching up. You see what I mean, with out the blog I would never have known them.
Rambled on enough so I will love you and leave you, till the next time.
Hugs Kate x

Scottish Castle!
Good Evening One and All, are we feeling a bit warmer this evening? I noticed quite a few of you good folks were beginning to feel chilly and were sweatering up and putting on the heating.
We had so much rain this morning but, cleared up mid afternoon, although there were some large black clouds lurking, nothing else has yet happened.
Thank you for all you comments on my last card and also for entering into the spirit of remembering all the sweeties of bygone years. Quite a few of you mentioned some I'd not heard of, and some I'd completely forgotten. Patricia mentioned Penny Dainties which her dad split in two pieces when they went to the cinema, unheard of now as everything is so much smaller. All the chocolate bars have shrunk, and Turkish Delights are a fraction of what they used to be, but 100% more expensive, just shocking I say.
Welcome to the fold Jacquie of http://jewelscardcraft.blogspot.co.uk/
I am delighted that you have chosen to join my little group and I hope you will continue to enjoy what I have to offer when you visit. Please call in to Jacquie's blog as there are some lovely cards to view.
Here is my card for today,
image from http://deliciousdoodles.blogspot.co.uk/search/label/castle
Fleximarkers
Core'dinations Card in Black and Grey
Silver Mirri
Papermania Capsule Liquorice Sherbet Papers ( here's the sweetie thing again)
Card Candy in Black
Glamour Dust on the water
This is a lovely image and comes quite shaded already, but I wanted to add a little colour, so the Fleximarkers I have are all very soft colours, just what I wanted to a twilight scene, hope you think it's worked.
Well folks that's me for another day, I've got a bit of a crafty mess to clear up and as I do all my creating on the dining table at the back of the living room, I feel I've always got to clear up.
See you all soon
Hugs Kate x

Christmas Candles!
Hello Everyone, Hoping today finds you all well, and good wishes and hugs to everyone one who is needing some TLC.
Isn't getting dark early now, mind you it's been pretty dull here today, but the lights are having to go on fairly early and I had to put on some heating, just too chilly in the house, but we are galloping towards mid September so what can you expect.
Thank you for leaving all the lovely comments on yesterday's card and I'm delighted that so many of you commented about the games you played as children, plenty of memories there, and to those of you in Englandshire, peever was the same as hopscotch, I'm pretty sure.
When at work, we have had a great time remembering all they types of sweets that were on the go when we were young, and of course there are quite a range of age groups, but it's fun as everyone gets excited and shouting " do you remember, MB bars, Aztecs, penny whoppers, Spangles" or whatever, and usually, and this is the best bit, someone goes to the wee sweetie shop in the market which sells lots of these old sorts of sweets and brings something back. It's also a great way to get my clients motivated and talking.
Anyway, on to today's card,
Sorry it's not the best focused and the colours don't seem to have come out too well.
Papermania Stamp, from a couple of years ago, one of my favourites
Prismacolour Pencils
Papermania First Noel papers, this is a particularly gorgeous paper pack
Core'dinations Red Card
Crafter's Companion Centura Pearl Card
Creative Expressions Gilding Wax in Autumn Bronze
SB Embossing Folder, sorry don't have the name of it
Die'sire Sentimentals Sentiment
Xcut die
Hobby Craft Copper Lace
The Ribbon Girl Gold Crushed Ribbon
WO Poinsettia
Hobby House Pearls
Glamour Dust, gold and silver
I felt I wanted the candle image to be the main focus, so resisted putting on too many embellishments.
As the TV has been hijacked by football, I think I'll take myself off upstairs and do a bit of knitting.
have a good evening whatever you're doing and see you soon.
Hugs Kate x

Cosy and Warm!
Hello Everyone, not been here for a few days so I do hope you are all well.
Thank you all so much for the lovely comments left on my last blog post, especially about Alistair's conker, ha ha,.but seriously, I am delighted you take the time to read my little stories of life here in the Currie household, and to encourage me with the crafting.
Now, this is for Blogging Friend Sandy who doesn't know what a conker is. Well Sandy, it's a chestnut and when they fall from the trees, you try to get a large one thread it with some string and you have chestnut challenges where you try to crack or break your opponents chestnut by swinging your chestnut to hit the other one. The chestnut is commonly known as a conker. I have no idea where or how it all began, but when I was a wee girl at school this game was all the go in the Autumn. If you couldn't find a conker to play with, there was always, skipping ropes, marbles or bouncing a ball of the side of a building whilst singing a rhyme. Oh, those halcyon days!!. Oh and I almost forgot about peever, where you marked the ground with chalk in squares with numbers, but earthor stones in a boot polish tin and sifted it along the square and then hopped in them. Who needed an Xbox then. Who remembers these games?
Anyhow on to my card;
A closer view

A Big Conker and a Fairy!
Hello to you all out there in Blogland, I hope you are all well, but sending hugs and good wishes for those of you who are not so tip top.
Well it's cold here tonight, and I've put on for the first time since buying them in Iceland my Elfshoes. They are so cosy, but the bells on the toes are doing Alistair's head in, but I don't care I love them.
Thank you all for the lovely comments on my last card, I do appreciate that you take the time to pop in and comment. I would like to welcome Marlene, my latest follower and who lives here in Inverness, I met her today with Fiona who is another crafty friend. Marlene has fabulous projects on her blog, and some of you might know of her already, but do pop in and visit her at http://cardsmadebymarlene.blogspot.co.uk/
My hubby has been busy in the kitchen today as he brought home from his travels yesterday some mussels which he turned into Mussel Chowder. Now I'm not for that sort of meal, not keen on seafood, I can do prawns in a cocktail sauce, that's about it, but I tasted some of the sauce and it was gorgeous. He thoroughly enjoyed it, and hopefully it won't aggrivate his gout as seafood does. Me? well I had a piece of Gala pie and beetroot. I'm right off cooking these days and I don't bother all that much when it's just me I'm feeding. He has done well this week as he made a scrumptious apple pie on Tuesday from our own apples, he is a clever boy and there is no end to his talents, here is something else he's made;
A Big Conker, he carved it from a log, stained and varnished it and put an old piece of rope throught it. He wanted to show the size that's the reason ther is a one of those little bottles of wine beside it.
A closeup. When Alistair was at Community Service, this was one of the projects he had the clients make, it was much larger and it still sits in their grounds. I think it is rather cool.
And on to my humble effort, a card using http://deliciousdoodles.blogspot.co.uk/2011/11/holly-fairy.html
Promarkers
LOTV Classic Christmas Papers
Green Card
Green Mirri Card
Tonic Gothic Die
Die'sire Holly Die
SB Petit Shape
Die'sire Sentimentals Jingle Bells Sentiment
MB Fabulous Phlox and Leafy Branch
Glamour Dust on her wings
Pearls and Ribbon from my Box
Well that's it for tonight, I hope everyone has a good weekend whatever you will be doing. We haven't much planned, it will depend on how the weather shapes up, not looking good for tomorrow though, perhaps Sunday will be better and we might get for drive somewhere.
Bye for now, Hugs Kate x

Autumn Sentiment and a Bright Pair of Socks!
Good Evening to you all, and I do hope it is a good evening, in fact a good day and that you have had time to do a bit of crafting.
It's been another lovely day here in Inverness, lovely and sunny and warm without the strong breeze of yesterday. We went for a walk around the Culloden Battlefield in the afternoon, and although been there loads of times I've never walked right the way around, I could never see the point of it, and the weather was always pants, but today it was just a lovely walk, with lots of blue sky. We live a stone's throw away so it was not a big drive to it and it was just an outing to blow away some cobwebs.
I didn't manage to make a card today, I was finishing off my socks and here they are, dark shades on please,
Photo a wee bit blurred, but i was taking the shot from a strange angel as I was modeling them as you can see. I bought the wool in Iceland and although I like it, it's not the softest of yarn.
I am now going to tackle the lacey wrap that has been on the pins for ever, but as it's patterned, and I need to concentrated, it's still might take a long time in the finnishing.
This card I made the other week and it's using the free stamps from Creative Stamping Magazine, I have really just copied the example of the card in the magazine by Kim Dellow, just using different papers and sparkle. I was trying out the masking technique for the stamps, never done before, and it took me a few times to get it right, but it's not too bad, anyway, here it is;
I think the stamps are so worth the money for the magazine and I think this sentiment is so lovely.
Prismacolour Pencil
LOTV Country Lady Paper
kraft Card base
Twine, buttons and pearls from my box
Glamour Dust
Sue, at Olliesmam used these stamps a few days ago and made a gorgeous card, I think it's great to see all the different ways the stamps can be used.
I hope you like it and I would just like to thank you all for the lovely comments on my previous card, and the kind comments on Alistair's lovely gift of jewellery.
That's me, off to put my feet up and watch a bit of telly,
Hugs Kate x

Winter Tree!
Hello Blogging Friends, I hope all is well with you, but if not, I'd like to send out kind thoughts and hugs to you.
Thanks you all so much for your kind comments, it really makes all this blogging thing so worth while. for anyone who finds themselves visiting my blog, please leave a comment because I would love to hear from you and in return I could visit you and see what you get up too.
I had a hell of a day yesterday with my Broadband, it kept going off, which meant I had to shut down the computer, wait for a bit then start all over again, this happened three times. I changed to The Post office from BT, I was finding problems with them and they were hugely expensive, the PO was a much better deal, but some Chief Executive in his/her wisdom have decided to change their system and this has been happening over the last few days and it just seams to be chaos.
Normally when phoning about something I can get right through, yesterday and today the phones were jammed and I had to wait for ages for someone to speak to, today I gave up in the end.
My email is all to pot and folders with fairly important info in them has not migrated across and it's all lost. No I wouldn't normally have bothered, but my existing BT email accounts will be stopping mis month so I'm trying to get things I need to keep transferred across. So much for all this technology, it's going to be the death of humankind.
That's my rant over, but so frustrating, so please forgive if I didn't get around to you blog yesterday, I've tried to catch up.
A few of you lovely people asked to see my lovely jewllery that hubby brought from his trip away last week, here it is,
Sorry about the photo, it wasn't great in the first place and I then tried to make it better, but anyway you can see how lovely the set is, it's an Ortak design from the Orkeny Isles. I think he has such good taste and I just love it.
Now for my card,
The image is from The Paper Shelter, and when I saw this I just had to have it, it just really appeals to me and I love the tree having a scarf to keep him warn now that he's lost his leaves.

Poinsettia Fairy and CCAYR Sempember Challenge!
Good Morning to you all and I hope your Sunday is shaping up to being a good one, whatever you are doing.
Not the best of weather here but nevertheless we are going to brave a beach walk at Rosemarkie, which is on the Black Isle and very pretty and if we are lucky with the tides we just might see some dolphins.
Alistair arrived home, earlier than he thought he would, but feeling still queasy from a very rough crossing on the ferry from Strommness, but at least the captain got them in to Thurso. Sometimes the boats have to head out to the Atlantic for some time before they can manage in to port. It's lovely to have him back safe and sound it a tad stinky, but with a lovely prezzie of a neckless and earing set from Ortak as a wee thank you for just being me and keeping the home fires burning. Wasn't that lovely!
Thank you all so much for your lovely comments on my Previous card, I love reading them, and also can I give a warm welcome to Lindsay of Craftymonster81 who has decided to follow my adventures in Blogland. I do hope Lindsay you will enjoy my blog and my humble creations.
My card to day is my inspirational contributing to CCAYR, which this Month is Fairies with a Little Sparkle, and it needn't be a Christmas Fairy, any old fairy will do as long as it is made with lots of Christmasy glitter and bling.
I've chosen an image from http://deliciousdoodles.blogspot.co.uk/2010/10/poinsettia-fairy.html
Coloured with Prismacolour Pencils
Green, Red and Gold card
First Edition Christmas Village Papers
SB Frosty Forms Corner and Border dies
LOTV Sentiment
The Ribbon Girl Crushed Golden Ribbon
Hobby House Dazzler
Glamour Dust
I hope this will offer some inspiration and that you will join us at http://christmascardsallyearround.blogspot.co.uk/2013/09/september-challenge.html
Fairies with a little Sparkle.
Please pop in to see what the other DTs have created, they are quite beautiful.
Have a lovely Sunday and see you soon
Hugs Kate x
