Two Oldies for Friday!

Hello to You All,  and hoping you are all well, but sending out positive thoughts to those of you are struggling at the moment, I hope it won't be long until things are OK for you.
Isn't it wonderful news that Rachel's husband Shaun is finally awake, lets hope he goes from strength to strength.

Now, I'm here today to join in with Erika of  http://snappycrafts.blogspot.co.uk
and a few other Blogging Friends for An Oldie For Friday.

Let me introduce Captain and Mrs. Alistair Currie, lately back from South Africa and the Zulu Wars.
Oh how the imagination takes over!   We had visited Beemish Museum and decided to have our photo taken and Alistair was just desperate to wear the soldier outfit, especially as he loves the film Zulu and reads quite a bit of history about the Wars.  It wasn't till I saw the photo that I realised that no Victorian lady would have worn her hair down, should have whipped up under the hat.  It was great fun getting dressed up, and we have the large framed photo on our wall  Hope your amused by it.

Why don't you join in, it can be anything you've made at an earlier stage in your crafting life, doesn't have to be a card, in this case it's just two "Oldies" having a bit of fun.

Fabulous photo, love it. We had some done in Salem wearing clothes from American Civil War and have a canvas bonded print in the hall. We had such fun dressing up, bet you did too. Wonderful news on Rachel's husband. Enjoy your day x

LOL Kate what a super photograph, gosh I haven't been to Beamish Museum for years. I took the boys probably about 8 years ago now, doesn't time fly. It isn't too far from my parents and was always the annual school trip when I lived there.
Thanks for sharing your oldie this Friday and all the very best for the weekend, hugs Erika. x

Hi Kate,
what a super picture.
This is a lovely way to have your photos taken, and a great Oldie for Friday.
My granddaughter once had hers taken in an olden day costume when she was quite young, and it looked so lovely too.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
