Belle Flower!

Hello Everyone, have you had a good day, I hope so and enjoyed some good weather.

My day began well as I was meeting my Choral Buddy Fiona for a coffee and a catch up this morning, and naughty pair that we are along with our coffee we had a lemon muffin. My first sweet thing in about four weeks, and it was divine, that will keep me going for a while.

Once back home and switching on my laptop, I found that the Windows updates that I left to run last night hadn't, so I began again. Then the blasted thing got stuck in a loop and kept telling me that it was restoring to previous system. I won't go into it you'd only be bored silly, but it took me about three hours to fix it out, and be able to get back into the system. Windows 10 keeps updating it's self and there seems to always be problems with it. Microsoft is always adding new things to the system and tweaking it, anyway here I am now able to post a new card;
This is a huge background stamp from Chocolate Baroque called Belle Flower and I've used watercolours to colour it up. I stamped it twice so that I could cut out some flowers and decoupage it. Background paper  is by Lesley who owns CB, sentiment is also CB, a few pearls and a dragonfly gem and that's the card complete.

Thank you for you lovely comments on my last card, I always appreciate your visits.
Just a short post tonight, my bed and book calls, so take care and see you soon,

Hi Kate,
I know what you mean about windows up dates.
My hubby has a atheary that if it's not broke don't fix it otherwise things go wrong so we tried turning off up dates only to be told that on windows 10 you can't stop up dates.
I have lots of issues when it up dates.
I know that windows lets it's cutomers sort out system problems and majority of us think it's something we have done not their system failings.
My hubby uses linux and there is no cost to that and it's safer and never crashes, but most and nearly all our craft things are done on windows especially CDs.
Right rant and rave over. LOL.

Your card is very beautiful and that stamp is sure a biggy and really gorgeous.
Your colouring is excellent and I love how you have decoupaged the flowers.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.

Glad you enjoyed your muffin Kate. That same day I was extremely naughty!! We had a special WI Group Tea and our speaker was from the Tea Company. We then had a wonderful afternoon cream tea with sandwiches, scones and cream and cake. Naughty but nice! Anyway - back to the business in hand ie your card! What a fabulous stamp which you have coloured beautifully. The colours are great. Hugs Christine xx

This is a beautiful CB Background stamp but makes a great card just on its own with all the pretty colour you have given it Kate, and the dimension with the added flowers too, and the perfect sentiment to finish, especially with that delightful dragonfly embellishment. x
