Lotus Flower!

Hello Everyone and how are You All today? I hope everyone is well, but sending kind thoughts to those of you who are not too good, and hopefully you will feel better soon.

Well our weather really did what it said it was going to do today, thunderstorms and down pouring rain. I was over with the pups and they were quite alarmed by the rumbling thunder, and the battering downpour, we were huddled up on the sofa together, now the sun is out, typical summer weather.
I hope you have had better weather wherever you are.

Thank you all so much for all the lovely comments on my last card, I appreciate everyone of them.

I've a card today that I made some time ago but never got around to posting it;
An Indigo Blue stamp and coloured with Inkintense Pencils from Derwent, a little shading over the background with DI. I think the Hello is a freebie and I've added Just Pearls in Copper.
Just a wee simple card, but quite effective.

That's me for now, off to get the Chilli made, a favourite of Alistair's, so I'll say cheerio for now and see you soon,

Hi there Kate, I do like this image and the colours you
have chosen are just perfect for the design. Beautifully
coloured. Love the addition of the Just Pearls - the icing
on the cake. We had a quick heavy shower here today and
so....very warm! hope it cools down a little tomorrow, at
least we have managed to get all the outside jobs done before
the rain arrives lol! Enjoy the rest of your week.
Love & Hugs Jennifer xx.

Gorgeous colouring Kate, it's a lovely card. I've got Inktense pencils on my crafty wish list, they look amazing and I love how you've used them here. We could really do with some rain as it's really humid at the moment. Crafty hugs, Sandra x

What a very striking creation Kate, perfectly coloured and the subtle embellishing really draws the eye.

We have been promised storms today, it doesn't stress the Labs but Poppy the terrier will be hiding under my desk as usual I have no doubt.

Wow love these colours, gorgeous card. Thanks for heads up on Outlander, have already noted it to record. I read the first few books years ago and loved them but then felt they were a bit samey. I think we will enjoy the Tv series though. I read a lot of the Poldark books many many years ago and saw the original TV series. This one is fabulous, shame you aren't into it, the scenery is fabulous, love Cornwall, and as for Ross, say no more.
