Autumn!

Hello Everyone, and I hope your Easter holiday has been going well and you are enjoying it.

We woke up to a winter wonderland this morning, snow pelting down, it's not lasting at this level though, but the mountains are plastered with the white stuff once again. Last night saw the temperature at minus 3, so pretty cold. We haven't done anything, Alistair has been painting the fences, and I've been quite happy colouring in, and my new Johanna Basford book arrived. World within Worlds. The whole colouring community has been awaiting it, so lots of You Tube videos already out for inspiration.

Anyhoo, I've a completed page from one of my Rita Berman books

I just love these books, there is one for every season, and this one is Autumn, I believe the translation is My Autumn Walk.

I've used Derwent Coloursoft and Procolour to colour the picture, and the quote is a stamp by Inkylicous, thought it was very apt. Finished of with a little bit of Stickles.

Thank you all for the lovely comments on my Santa card, very much appreciated.

Well, the snow is on again, so it's a day for indoors and I've discovered a fabulous film on, The Fall of the Roman Empire, just my type of epic movie with a cast of thousands, none of this modern digital stuff, and it has a great cast,  Alex Guinness Sophia Loren, Christopher Plummer, and Steven Boyed in the lead roles, only thing is it's on BBC 2, so loo breaks and it's a very long film. Some popcorn would have been just the ticket, but I've none.

Enjoy the rest of the holiday, keep safe if you are able to get out and about more, and I'll see you soon,

  2. WOW! such beautiful colouring Kate, I tried to do a page once, I gave up, so I admire your great patience. We had your equivalent of snow first thing, it's called rain! hahaha. It cleared up quickly and we have had clear skies and beautiful sun, BUT only 9C and a freezing Artic wind, so you did well sending it down to us :) We had our first car ride out of our area, so good to see different things for a change.
    Keep warm and safe

  10. What a gorgeous image and lovely colouring. I love your chatty posts. The trick with a film is to record it then you can watch it, stop if to make a cuppa and go to the loo and then start it again. We record anything we want to watch and then we can miss the ads. Mind yoh so little on we mostly watch Netflix and Amazon.

  16. A lovely colouring page, beautifully coloured once again, we are so lucky to have this hobby that we enjoy so much to keep us sane in these times. Very cold here this morning and a little flurry of snow but the sun is shining brightly now, take care.

  17. These designs are so pretty, and oh my, your pencil coloring is awesome. Occasionally I venture to try pencils, but alas, it doesn't seem to be my forte! You have nailed it! You had snow for Easter, we had lovely 70+(F) weather and pretty sunshine, which I'm grateful to see. Your movie epic sounds wonderful, my kind of viewing. I recently subscribed to Britbox so I can enjoy some of the fabulous Brit shows. Take care, and TFS. Hugs

I also love the sentiment too. Hope your snow has gone now. We had a little too but it has all gone but it is still very cold, wet and windy here.
