Straight to the Point!

Hello to You All, I hope all is well with you and that you've had a good day.
I've had an at home day, whilst Alistair was up a mountain, where he encountered a blizzard at the top. However he's back home safe and sound and pleased with himself as it's the first mountain he's managed to get up this year.

So, my day was housework and a bit of time in my craft room.

I had my appointment with the nurse at the Diabetic Clinic at the hospital yesterday, and she was so very helpful, she has made some suggestions and changed my needles to smaller ones and this could help with absorption. New BG targets, and a few tweaks with the insulin. I have to say that I felt a huge lift of stress after my time with her. So that's good.

Thank you for all your visits and lovely comments, most appreciated. A warm welcome to my new followers too, I hope you will pop in often to see what I'm creating.

I've got a card to share today,
Well this little guy from Hobby Art Stamps is certainly getting straight to the point, all the images and sentiment are from Hedgehogs  stamp set. Coloured with Zig Pens and the papers are from Crafty Individuals, a few pearls and job done.
Now, I don't know if you've noticed  my mistake... and I almost tossed it in the bin, but I rather liked what I'd done, so decided just to let it alone and post it anyway.  I've stamped the whole thing with the hedgehog upright instead of it lying across the grass. I did wonder about the little squiggle on the base of the pot, but didn't realise it was a bit of grass until it was all put together. So in my imagination the hedgehog has rocked the pot and turned it upright LOL!!

Hoping now to get around to visiting your blogs, so I'll say cheerio and see you soon,

  19. Haha, Kate! I'm going to agree with your story and we'll stick to it! Those impish hedgies certainly can flop a clay pot up on its side, so it's totally believable and I'm so glad you didn't bin your sweet and colorful card!

I am so delighted to hear that Alistair is climbing mountains and I'm glad you are feeling more optimistic after seeing the nurse. I hope the smaller needles are the answer! Hugs, Darnell

  22. Those CI papers are really pretty Kate and go with so many different sorts of cards, and love your cute and beautifully coloured Hedgie. I would never have known that it was meant to be on its side if you hadn't said, I just thought there were some heavy stones in the bottom of the pot, and the curious Hedgie poked his nose over the edge seeing a nice juicy worm in the bottom and fell in head first. I hope you like that scenario..lol. I'm sorry to hear you suffer with diabetes but glad that the nurse has suggested some improvements to treatment which I hope will keep you feeling well. x

  23. You shouldn't have told us Kate lol! But I know why you did because I do exactly the same, always point out my errors before anyone else can do so lol! it works this way too huni - so you can get two looks from one stamp which is a bonus.

I just wanted to pop over and say thank you sweetie for the lovely comment on my seahorses monolith. I loved making that one and the fact that you liked it enough to pop over really made my day so thank you sweet lady. I don't do well in this heat, but it looks like it will be with us for a couple of days at least. Thankfully we got a new fan so that helps me a little. Have a lovely week sweetie xx
