Hello to You All, I hope everyone is tickity boo, and enjoying the weekend.
It's time for the second Christmas Card Club Challenge, and this time it's our lovely Christine who has chosen the theme of the True Meaning of Christmas. this is what I've gone with;
On black card I've used an Imagination Craft stencil and pasted glitter paste on it, didn't find it easy to photograph, and the glitter isn't all that bright, anyhoo I've added some tiny clear gems. A simple card, but I like the sentiments.
Thank your Christine for the challenge, I enjoyed making this card.
Just a short post today, cheerio for now
A beautiful sentiment and card Kate,
ReplyDeleteHi Kate, lovely card and I like your interpretation of the challenge. I wouldn't have thought to use those simple words but they are just right. xx
ReplyDeletePS: Photographing glitter, like metallics, is a pain!
This is a beautiful card Kate simple and elegant and as you say a lovely sentiment for Christmas….

ReplyDeleteIt is a beautiful card, Kate. The silver looks great on black base, even if the glitter does not show in the photo. Lovely sentiments too. Hugs, my friend.

In the words of Edmund Gwynn from "Miracle On 34th Street", "Christmas isn't just a day; it's a state of mind." Your very elegant card expresses this and how I wish this was carried out every day.

I'm sure in person it is very beautiful. It is hard to photograph some things we add to cards. On black I am sure it stands out and is lovely.
