Good Evening to You, I hope your weekend was a good one, and that the new week has gotten off to a good stare for you.
I had a quiet weekend, pottering about at home, and getting some cards and colouring done.
Today, was a busy one with Aqua in the morning, then changing my email address with organisations that I deal with, like bank, electric company etc. We are having a new broadband installed tomorrow, and we will loose our email address as it goes along with the Post Office. We have had no end of trouble with this company for months now since they were bought over by Shell. I was without emails for three weeks at one point, and I sometimes can't get onto them at all unless I first delete all the cookies, who has time for all that. So, I thought time for a change. Doing away with the phone too, so will just use a mobile. I just hope it all goes smoothly, never guaranteed in this house.
Then over to see Damian as it's his birthday today, here is his card,
The car stamp is from Creative Stamping, and I used the Black Ice Technique, matted on to blue mirror card. I used my cog stencil to make a background, then added some grey enamelled dots. He liked it.
So, busy day, I'm whacked now, I think it will be an early night.
Thank you for the lovely comments on my last card, I always appreciate them.
Cheerio for now, and keep yourselves safe,
Hope you could settle down now, after all the changes! A very masculine card for Damian's birthday, love the black ice technique used her!

A fabulous technique and card Kate, Damian will love it
ReplyDeleteThe black ice technique is perfect for this card for Damian and it looks great with the car stamped over the top and the stencilled cogs in softer tones in the background, and the few enamelled dots finish it really well Kate..a brilliant card. x

ReplyDeleteHi Kate,
ReplyDeleteso sorry to hear you have been having trouble with the post office emails they used to be good when we were with them, but when we changed to talk talk I started using G Mail so I wouldn't have to change my email if we changed again.
A brilliant card for Damian I love the black ice effect on it.
Looks lovely with the blue mirri matt as well.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
The card is a great one for a man and love the blue mirror cardstock you used for some colour. I am one who will never get rid of my home phone. The voice and everything just sounds more clear than on the cell phone. During my work, I have had too many people have issues with their cell phones. people think they can walk away and I can still hear them clearly. Good luck with the internet etc.. it is frustrating when this does not work.
ReplyDeleteYou've made a wonderful masculine card! very nicely done!
ReplyDeleteGreat card, fab car. Let me have your new email
