Poinsettias for the CCC!

 Hello Everyone, how are you today? well I hope and enjoying your weekend.

We are hoping to go to Aviemore later for a walk, it's a slightly better day weatherwise, at least it's not raining.

I'm not a tennis fan, but I've been captured by Emma Raducanu, what a marvellous young lady, and she so deserved her win last night,I'm sure some of you watched her match, unfortunately I have no clue about the rules or how the scoring works, but what an exciting match.

Anyway, it's time for the Christmas Card Club Challenge, where did the last two weeks go! and it's Rita who chose the challenge of Poinsettias, always a favourite with the team, here is what I've made;

Everything about this card is old. The card base is the last card from a very old set of Hunkydory cards bought from Create and Craft way back in the days when I started crafting, must be about 14 years ago. The paper, is from an old Papermainia Christmas pad, the poinsettia is a Sue Wilson one, Gold card is a Centura Pearl one, brand escapes me at the moment. Docrafts ribbon, a few gems and some Stickles. I only managed one card this time.

A lovely challenge Rita, thank you.

That's me for now, housework calls, I'll be back soon, remember to have a look at what the other CCC ladies create, their cards are always fabulous. Take care,

  12. A really beautiful card Kate, love the background and the 3D main image, all in a beautiful scallop frame. I hope you enjoyed your walk. I'm the same as you, I enjoy snatches of matches, but have never been able to understand the rules. The young lady has done very well.

  22. I love the entire card, so very pretty. I love poinsettia they are such pretty flowers and they now take the white ones and spray them all colors here for the holiday, and glitter them up too. I still love the red. Gorgeous card, Kate.

  24. Love this card Kate. Poinsettias always look bright
    and cheerful on a Christmas card. Everything just
    seems to fit together perfectly. There is something
    very satisfying about using up old products which
    maybe had been forgotten about. Have a good week.
    Love & Hugs Jennifer xx.
