Just a Note!

Hello Everyone, I hope your day has been good. Mine has been snowy. Last night in a couple of hours there was quite a bit of snow falling and had to drive through what felt like a blizzard, got quite a shock when leaving the choral rehearsal to see how much had fallen.
No more since and the sun was melting it away throughout the day.

Thank you so much for the lovely comments on my last card.

I have another little card for a challenge tonight;
http://simplylessismoore.blogspot.com/2020/02/challenge-413
-more-but-still-cas.html

I'm still using my older stamps and this is another Little Claire image which I've heat embossed with WOW clear powder and added just a little yellow for the lamplight.
This is a challenge I've never entered before so we'll see how the wee card does.

I thought I would show you a photo that was taken last night at the Choral rehearsal where we handed over the cheque from the Carolthon way back in December, it takes a while to collect all the money in as the choir members get people to sponsor them, and of course there's the money collected on the day. We reach the final total of £3,600 which gets divided between the Choral and the chosen charity.
I'm the one in yellow and my Carolthon co-organiser is Carol at the far end of the cheque and Susan is the Befrienders  Manager. It was a lovely charity to work with and they are so pleased to get the money as they are able to train volunteers and more.. So that's the last thing ticked of the list for last year's Carolthon, and in a few months time we start to plan this years.

That's me for now, a cuppa beckons me, and just before I go my thanks to Marianne who noticed that my butter was cold 😄 , of course it should have read it was bitter cold, it did make me laugh, and when I reread my post there were quite a few spelling mistakes, I guess my fingers were going faster than my brain. However, my butter was indeed cold too lol. Take care and see you soon,

  3. These Little Claire cats are so cute Kate and love the yellow light from the lamp and the music notes too. I have recently done some CAS cards for a change and they are not that easy to do as it is difficult to stop yourself from adding too much, but your card is perfect. Glad your Carolthon did so well, and great that your choir and the charity have benefitted handsomely. x

  10. Lovely CAS card using an older stamp.

    Thanks for visiting my blog and commenting.

    Glad to hear your butter was cold! Very cold down south today (but probably not as cold as your end of the world!) The Met Office said it was feeling like minus 2 as I got in my car this morning! Brrrr!

  20. Your wee kitty card is darling. Love silhouettes and this one is so cute. The light from the street lamp is perfect. Love it.

    We are having high winds and blizzard conditions starting sometime tonight. Not looking forward to it either. My daughter and son in law both teachers are having a day off because of it. A cuppa will sound mighty good during this storm, hope we don't lose power.........

    Hugs
