Hello!

Hello Everyone,  how are you doing today, I hope you are well and having better weather than we are. Blustery and rain, quite cold too, a day for staying indoors, and pottering around.

Our new heaters are in and are fabulous, so cosy, and worth the hassle... not that there was much and the electrician was such a pleasant young man, and nothing seemed to a bother to him, especially having to explain how to programme the heaters, and how they were wired into the total control system. I shall send a note to his boss to say how good he was. We have had to change some furniture around, but the living room looks good. There will have to be a bit of repainting as the heaters aren't the same sizes as the old ones, but we'll get around to that soon.

Thank you all for your visits and comments, I do appreciate them.

My card today uses stamps from Clearly Besotted, and coloured with Black Widow colour pencils, with some WOS and Glossy Accents drops on the rose. The Hello sentiment is a freebie from a Creative Stamping magazine. I've splattered Perfect Pearls and added a few sequins. My aim with the colours was to use Autumnal shades.

I'm entering my card into;

It's also the Flower Challenge's 3rd. Birthday, so a very Happy Birthday is wished for them.

Just a short post today, still some more pottering to do, so I'll say cheerio for now and see you soon,

  15. That's a rather lovely floral image Kate and coloured beautifully. Pleased your new heating is up and running, sounded from your post the other day that it's similar to what my parents had installed and they were very happy with that.

  16. Such a pretty arrangement of flower stamping and beautifully coloured too. I love the splatters, I might try that on some cards too, it's a lovely way to fill in the white space which I find difficult when creating CAS designs.

  18. We have had heavy rain here today with hail too. Not succumbed to putting th3 heating on yet but the electric blanket on the bed has been on a few evenings.! The weather has certainly changed. Love this pretty corner card. Coincidentally I spent yesterday going through my Digi stamp collection and printed a couple of corner images to try and colour up. Hugs Mrs A.
