Sentiment as Focus for CCC!

Hello Everyone, I hope you've had a lovely Saturday. We had wonderful sunshine and a bit of heat today, so I hope you had the same.
Well once again it's time for the Christmas Card Club ladies to show their creations, where did the last two weeks go...... the come around too quickly. Anyway, it's our lovely Carol who has chosen the theme this time an she would like to see a sentiment as the focus of the card. Here is mine;
I'm very fond of this lovely Crafty Individual stamp and use it every year. I've heat embossed with white powder on to Kraft card and then mated it on to an embossed piece of green card. The paper is an old Papermania one. The bells and star dies are from Dovecraft, a bow and little red gems completed the look.

I'm afraid I had only time to make one card Carol, but I did enjoy the challenge, so thank you for your choice.

This will be a scheduled post for tomorrow when the challenge goes live. If you have time please visit the other CCC ladies and see their lovely creations.

Thank you all for your continued visits and the lovely comments.  Enjoy your evening and see you soon,

  2. A lovely traditional feel to your Christmas card Kate. No sun here last day I'm afraid, just an inch of rain overnight and more on it's way.

  16. It's lovely, Kate, and for some reason, made me think of Gingerbread houses & icing. The sentiment is a most worthy one, and we should all take it to heart. The dark green embossing looks pretty behind the kraft & white and the sprigs of holly in the frame add more holiday color. As did the filigree gold star. Love the placement of your design too. Enjoy your sunshine. TFS & Hugs

  19. What a beautiful sentiment, KAte. I can see why to like to use this greeting. It must feel good to send these lovely words to your friends and family.

    We have had a bit of sun for the last few days. Even during the two days of predicted rain...we only had cloudy skies, rain at night and a bit of sun during the day. Today is supposed to get smoking hot! We have been busy potting up hanging baskets and planting the large pots on the patios. I plan to eat our supper outside tonight and enjoy our hard work!

  21. A great card Kate - a lovely sentiment indeed. Port Sunlight is a lovely village over on Merseyside so its a bit of a trek for me but I find it the best show specifically for stampers. The Village itself is lovely too! Big hugs rachel xx
