Hi to You All, I hope you are well, but sending kind thoughts to those who aren't and hopefully you will feel better soon.
Thank you all for your visits and kind comments, I do appreciate them. Hello to Gill who popped in for the first time and left a lovely comment, I hope you will come back often.
Well, would you believe it, my quiet weekend was scuppered by Hubby phoning to say that they had to come back home, the weather was so awful and the campsite was a quagmire. This was on Saturday night, but I wasn't to worry about a meal for him.....like I was of course, he would get a fish supper in Ft. William. He and Ken were home by 8.30, thankfully before the new Scandi drama started. He was whacked, wet and cold and he hadn't enjoyed his chippy either. Once he had a shower and settled down, he said....I'm getting too old now!. I felt really sad for him as this sort of thing has been his life since the age of 11. However he is indeed getting older, but he goes for the burn, not good at pacing himself, he is however fitter than anyone else I know. He's having a few quiet days now and most likely when the weather gets warmer the boys will be organising another weekend away.
So here is what I've got to post today;
This is a Crafty Individuals images CI-121, it's a lovely teasel stamp, and I've used some lovely Chocolate Baroque paper behind the tag, the paper was designed by Lesley form CB. I've used other small stamps from CI and some tear drop stencil shapes. I had made the tag separately, then decided to add it to a card instead.
That's me for now, the last episode of Shetland is on later so I want to get settled for that. Take care of yourselves and see you soon,
A super card Kate, your teasel stamp is lovely and I like your rustic design.

ReplyDeleteAdorable tag, love the stamp and your design!
ReplyDeleteThis is a wonderful distressed tag and the digi paper in the background is just perfect with it, also the teasel is complemented beautifully by the background CI stamps and the pretty tear drop stencil shapes, and love that sparkly ribbon too. x
ReplyDeleteSorry Kate I meant to say I hope the scratch Messiah and your Spring Concert go well when they happen over the next few weeks. x
ReplyDeleteLove the look of this tag/card, even the colours are so appealing.
ReplyDeleteHope hubby has recovered..xx 💖 [Aussie aNNie's Blog]
Love this tag and you've packed a lot of design & subtle color into a small area. The background is very pretty with the different patterns stamped into it, and at first I thought you'd created it. Such pretty DP! Love the little posey on the tag and what a nice addition to stencil the pink raindrops falling. So sorry to hear Alistair's trip was such a washout. I'm sure when the weather is not so dreadful, he will be ready to strike out again. I remember you had that pot of soup ready though! Good planning on your part. TFS & Hugs

Oh poor Alistair, he needs to wait for warmer weather and pace himself. He may be fit but doesn’t want to overdo it. This is a fab make, love the teasel. Shetland finishes next week, can’t wait to find out what happens but will miss it, love Perez.

Aww! I feel sad for Alistair. Sorry his trip out was cancelled. You know these things creep up on all of us from time to time. Maybe the next trip, with better weather and a laugh with the lads with bring back his enthusiasm and extra energy. I hope so. Well my lovely Kate. What a stunning tag. Looks beautiful mounted onto the card.
