Colourful Santas!

Hello Everyone, I hope all is well with you, but sending kind thoughts to those of you who are not so good just now.

Thank you all so much for the lovely comments on my last card, much appreciated.

Not much news for you and no funny stories, thank goodness do I hear you say, lol.

We did go to the cinema yesterday to see the new Murder on the Orient Express. We went to a showing in the afternoon, it's a wee bit cheaper, but I quite like going in the afternoons, and then coming out and going for a bite to eat.
I was a good film, however for me the original with Peter Ustinov was undoubtedly better, however Kenneth Branagh had a magnificent moustache, it was all fine for a Tuesday afternoon.

So here are some little cards I made a while ago but not posted;

I think this little Santa image is from Little Claire, he's a jolly wee soul, a selection of papers and embellishments and I think they make lovely little cards.

That's me for now, Peaky Blinders on tonight, so that's me sorted, you have a good evening and see you soon, till then,

    I'm so pleased that you had a nice time at the cinema, it sounds ideal to watch a film and then going for something to eat.

  12. Oh these are such fun, love the variety of colors and background papers you've selected to change up the image on each card. Very festive & cheery, sure to bring a smile. Your movie date sounds fun. I think I'd enjoy the afternoon better, probably fewer people to disturb your viewing, and then having some dinner, yummy. TFS & Hugs (haven't watched P.Blinders as yet. Tried, but didn't get very far into it. Are you enjoying Outlander?)

    I like going to the cinema in the afternoon, they have one of those fancy ones near us with sofas, I go with my friend and we have wine instead of popcorn - it’s a lovely treat!

  20. Oh how funny is it that you went to see Murder on the Orient Express. My plan for this afternoon is to re-watch the original so it's fresh in my mind, before going to see the remake. Love old murder mysteries, just watched The Crooked House, good one! Fabulous cards, so frosty and festive with the santa images! Love all the different versions you came up with, fantastic! hugs :)

  25. Me again
    Meant to agree with you about Peter Ustinov. He wasn't what I think Poirot was meant to be (David Suchet nailed that for me) but it was a better film than the Albert Finney version.
