It's been a very fast couple of weeks because the Christmas Card Club Ladies are back to share their latest creations, theme this time around chosen by yours truly which is ICICLES.
Now I'm not sure why I chose this to be the challenge because I've not really got all that much by way of icicles, but I managed to come up with this;
I've used a log cabin stamp from a free collection that came along with Creative Stamping Magazine, the sentiment is also from the same set. Loads of Star Dust on the roof and on the hills.
An icicle die from Die 'sire dies, and various shades of blue to give the cold look.
I'm not all that sure about the icicle die, I think it looks a bit like a comb, oh well it will have to do.
I'm sure the other team members will come up with some fabulous creations, so don't forget to pop over to see them.
Once again thanks so much for all your lovely comments on my previous card, enjoy your weekend and see you soon,
Your card has a beautiful icy feel to it the shade of blue and the star dust make me feel the cold.
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Kate. What a fabulous card. Like you I had nothing at all with icicles so had to improvise as you do at times like these. Thank you for choosing this challenge as it did get my brain working again. Enjoy your Day. Hugs Rita xxxx

Brrrrr definitely icy. I see what you mean about the icicles, I think it is because they are at an angle so there is space above. The idea of a comb in the sky made me smile x

ReplyDeleteThis little log cabin in a blizzard of snow looks very icey indeed. I also like the bank of icicles at the top. Love the way you've done the sparkle stickles around the sky...just like swirling sleet & snow. Thanks for a good challenge, and TFS. Hugs

ReplyDeleteThank goodness we didn't get the snow forecast over the weekend, although this card makes it look very pretty. We just know in real life it's not so much fun if you are over the age of 16! ;)
