Good Evening to You All, I hope you have had a good day and that the weather was fair. I've found it quite cold today and it was dull, though the rain kept away.
Not long finished work, but I thought I would do a quick post to share my "Oldie for Friday"!
Started by Erika of Snappy Crafts as a fun thing to show handcrafted items made at an earlier stage in our crafting life. It can be anything, not just a card. There are quite a few of us "Oldies" now and it's great looking back at what we've made and how our style has changed, improved not not as the case may be. So why not join in the fun, here is mine for this week;
Now I can't remember where this digi image came from, might be from Mo, but coloured with Promarkers, and Papermainia Papers. I think it's a brilliant image, but then I'm a huge Chaplin fan.
Thank your for all your comments on my last card, and just to say that my client who wanted the wedding card, just loves it, thinks it's fabulous, I am so pleased.
Short post tonight, and I'll schedule this for tomorrow,
Love the Charlie Chaplin image, hubby has the complete DVD Collection and it's great to watch them.You chose great coloured papers to complement your image. Take card hugs Meg
ReplyDeleteMorning Kate, what a great oldie, love Charlie Chaplin and the B and W background, in keeping with the old era of films, very clever.

What a huge coincidence this card is! I just watched Chaplin last night with Robert Downey. (who is not my fav actor, but thought he was good in this!) I didn't know all that much about CC, so enjoyed the movie (slept through some of it, so need to rewatch the middle section LOL). You've captured the essence perfectly and loved the muted tones & patterns you've backed this little Tramp with. Well done! Happy wkend. Hugs & TFS
