Good Afternoon to Everyone and Welcome.
I hope the strong winds haven't caused you much damage, what a night it was here with very heavy rain too. There was no way Teallach was venturing out last night it was that bad. Dustbins blown everywhere, fences and gates down, trash all over the street. Damian had a trampoline blown into his garden and the rail track behind his house had a shed lying across it, not his thankfully, which had to be dismantled, so services were delayed. Alistair and I went into town and there had been quite a bit of damage to chimney pots and other kinds of structural damage. I hope it's blown it's self out now.
Thank you so much for your visit and comments on my last card, it's very much appreciated.I've looked out another oldie to play along with Erika of Snappy Crafts and a few others.
This card was made for a friend's birthday a few years ago;
I think the image is one by Crafter's Companion, coloured very poorly in Promarkers. I hope my colouring has improved since then. Anyway my friend liked it and that's what matters.
Well that is me off work until next Thursday, so a nice long break, and if the weather is decent we will go away for the day and have a walk.
I hope everyone is well, and looking forward to the weekend. Take care of yourselves,
Your kitty sleeping in that fabulous shoe is darling, no wonder your friend liked it.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your time off.

Good evening Kate,
ReplyDeleteHazel and I were just wondering how you got on.
Extremely wild here but I know you got far worse. Hope when the next lot comes along it is not so wild. Dread the thought of the "snow" they are forecasting.
Now to your brilliant card, yes!! Crafters Companion. Your colouring looks ok from my chair. Howevere I know you love colouring and you will be very critical. Your colouring is always fantastic.
Have a wonderful few days off
Hugs

ReplyDeleteVery windy here last night also, lets hope that is the worst of it over with.

Hi Kate
ReplyDeleteWhen I saw the title, I thought we were going to get a new pic of Teallach. I think we are overdue as it was last year we last got one lol! (Ok, I know that was only 9 days ago lol!)
A super cute card and as my forays into colouring are very infrequent, yours looks fab to me.
The wind has got up here again in the last hour. I shall get some washing out tomorrow and double peg it otherwise me smalls may be joining the trampoline in your Damian's garden.
I'm off till Tuesday now. . . . .Hurrah!
Keep warm and well!

This is gorgeous Kate, such a sweet image and beautiful colours.
ReplyDeleteI don't blame Teallach not wanting to go out in last night's weather. I hope it has calmed down a bit now.
Enjoy your few days off, I hope you get a chance to relax.
hugs Sue xx
Kate, there is nothing wrong with your colouring, you are fab at making your images just so. Love this image. Yes Teallach knows better than go out in this terrible weather, we got away with no damage and no sheds on the rail track behind us, next doors shed roof came off. Enjoy your time off and I hope it's not to bad tonight weather wise. Hazel x
ReplyDeleteWow your wind storm sounds terrible. Hope the weather calms down. Adorable colored shoe and darling sleeping kitty Kate.

ReplyDeleteI haven't disappeared Kate - I had some major computer problems and lost all the people I am following. No I am slowly but surely resubscribing!
ReplyDeleteIt has been quite cold here but no storms - sounds like you had a bad wind storm.
