Robin and Snowdrop!

Good Saturday Morning to you all, I hope your are all well and looking forward to your weekend.  I am my very own Ray Meares will be home this evening full of wonderful stories, most embellished I have to say, but nevertheless alway entertaining.  He'll be awfully stinky though, after  camping for a week.

It's been quite a quick week for me, sometimes the time drags by when Alistair is away, but not this time, maybe my wee trip the Glasgow broke the week up, and I've managed to get quite a bit of card making done.

I would like to welcome  Maarit, my latest follower to the fold, thank you for joining me on my blogging experience, I hope you will enjoy my bits and pieces posted on here.

Thanks too to everyone who has left comments all very encouraging and kind, and especially to Val from Spain, if you are back again Val, Hello.  I looked to see if you have a blog I could visit, but what I got up was a Circles thingy, which I'm afraid I don't understand as I don't do that, but if you have a blog, or if any of my other lovely friends know Val maybe you could help.

I've a fair amount to do today in the house, I'm afraid I've let things slip, but do I care, not a jot, but some things need attending and I guess I'd better fill the food cupboards too, a chore I hate, but eat we must.

I have a little card for you today and it's using one of Little Claire's new Christmas Stamps;
LC Robin and Snowdrop Stamp
LOTV Sentiment
Prismacolour Pencils
Kraft card
LOTV Classic Christmas Paper
Core;dinations card
Die'sire embossilisious Holiday Holly folder
Die'sire Wrought Iron Fence Die
Hobbycraft Gold Lace and flowers
The Ribbon Girl tree charm
Ribbon and Gems from my box
Glamour Dust

This design wasn't what I had in mind when I started out, but as usual I was trying to be too clever and I couldn't get it to work, hence this one in the end, but it's not too bad.

Off now to get started, I do hope you have a good weekend, see you soon
Hugs Kate x

  8. Great card Kate, I love what you have done with the trees backing paper and the robin. Funny how cards never turn out the way you had them planned in your mind......well mine never that`s for sure.
Enjoy your evening once Alistair gets himself "fresh & clean"

  12. I think it came out just lovely. I do know how you feel about starting out with an idea and ending up with something totally different when that idea doesn't work. It happens to me frequently :)

    Best crafty wishes!
