I've not been feeling too well, nothing I can put my finger on or give a name to, but just not feeling tip top with everything being an effort, maybe an age thing, perhaps you know what I mean. Anyway, I'm here today with another calendar page from my Lavinia Stamps calendar coloured up, here is Evening Sail</span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfhkzrpAAyJsy_UHrDimpQFSMmQVnufokfNfVAjjrj-bxK4UYk3f8ZirxDJJ-r0o-cjRi_jAsjwLLgcjgPy8ofYijmBMJ7vWUTvuj-4kEhSTxnN_1If4Ul4mtWjVNdr2CAO0RbGHVrB9z7tEJJtcGvWHY7gtn-zVFk4iHhBYwuHhWiHHHuayl0eUwCOkA/s3000/Evening%20sail%20Lavinia%20calendar%20May%202024.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2468" data-original-width="3000" height="329" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhfhkzrpAAyJsy_UHrDimpQFSMmQVnufokfNfVAjjrj-bxK4UYk3f8ZirxDJJ-r0o-cjRi_jAsjwLLgcjgPy8ofYijmBMJ7vWUTvuj-4kEhSTxnN_1If4Ul4mtWjVNdr2CAO0RbGHVrB9z7tEJJtcGvWHY7gtn-zVFk4iHhBYwuHhWiHHHuayl0eUwCOkA/w400-h329/Evening%20sail%20Lavinia%20calendar%20May%202024.jpg" width="400" /></span></a></div><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;"><br /></span><p><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;">Mr. and Mrs. Hare like to go for an evening sail when the weather is fine, they like a bit of time to themselves away form the family, so a nice leisurely sail along the river side to relax is just the thing. Also hope you are not suffering any damage from the awful storm that's been happening over the weekend. We had some high winds and battering rain yesterday, especially through the night, quite frightening.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;">On Saturday I was singing with a huge chorus in our cathedral, Messiah, around 300 voices and a large orchestra. It was an amazing day but so long, stared rehearsing at 9.30 until 5 o'clock and performance at 7 o'clock, add to that that the Cathedral was so cold it was an exhausting day. The Cathedral was packed for the performance with a very appreciative audience. The chorus was made up of different choirs, or singers who just wanted to sing. It was great to be part of it. Yesterday was a say of doing little and gargling my throat โบ </span></p><p><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;">Thank you for you lovely comments on my last card, I'm here today with a Sympathy card for a lady who was part of our Christmas Card Club who lost her lovely Husband a few weeks ago, who had never really recovered for having Long Covid,</span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjh6XT2KtEYVuVNE0rMaJIKKzkfCg5Np2SMTo4z3PqqsClSqhdtTZhx6ZRvk75mnUG1VjpXyMITzjwGTVRkgor80N0eziX9G59R-cUx4thFuhh_mwv67Dsrx9UF2RunyjqV9FfxBUxS1EB9rWd0RUuP6d4-OYTWiNrJT9sw8YgNEiIEPpve6Pe1x_u70pE/s3795/Sympathy%20for%20Elizabeth%20Lavina%20Jan%2024.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3795" data-original-width="2424" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjh6XT2KtEYVuVNE0rMaJIKKzkfCg5Np2SMTo4z3PqqsClSqhdtTZhx6ZRvk75mnUG1VjpXyMITzjwGTVRkgor80N0eziX9G59R-cUx4thFuhh_mwv67Dsrx9UF2RunyjqV9FfxBUxS1EB9rWd0RUuP6d4-OYTWiNrJT9sw8YgNEiIEPpve6Pe1x_u70pE/w255-h400/Sympathy%20for%20Elizabeth%20Lavina%20Jan%2024.jpg" width="255" /></span></a></div><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;"><br /></span><p><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;">Just a very simple card using one of the new Lavinia stamps, stamped in Versafine Clair Morning Mist with a few splatters from Elements Ink.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;">Well, that's me for now, take care of yourselves and see you soon</span></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEuxEVNIkC_RwXNA9z8gDEZ0VgC3fICzVt-oVu4wkrkUTWVq4Nv5cmr8x0BSWYS6pQaJ7NqsF77RlSr_pjDrjo4uYPqarMVaKCBVdAgUdCwXVy9hyphenhyphenvpGMG3ggEDpGWKAZ4_snaat9aHyMLy6EBge-CJm3D1aOnlV-gtqz-HShwYf3dEcxsIMX4O5sehVI/s357/another%20sig.gif" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;"><img border="0" data-original-height="115" data-original-width="357" height="103" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgEuxEVNIkC_RwXNA9z8gDEZ0VgC3fICzVt-oVu4wkrkUTWVq4Nv5cmr8x0BSWYS6pQaJ7NqsF77RlSr_pjDrjo4uYPqarMVaKCBVdAgUdCwXVy9hyphenhyphenvpGMG3ggEDpGWKAZ4_snaat9aHyMLy6EBge-CJm3D1aOnlV-gtqz-HShwYf3dEcxsIMX4O5sehVI/s320/another%20sig.gif" width="320" /></span></a></div><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;"><br /></span><p><br /></p>cuilliesockshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07368305987539574992noreply@blogger.com12tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-358609042692535536.post-91529289766574353872024-01-17T19:24:00.003+00:002024-01-17T19:25:57.807+00:00Butterfly and the Cat!<p><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;"> Hello Friends and Visitors, I hope you are well and keeping warm and cosy in this freezing weather. Bringing Gifts!<p> <span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;">Hello Friends and Visitors, It's been a while since I was last on the computer to go to Blogland, but here I am, late, but nevertheless here with the final card for the Christmas Card Club and the theme is Anything Goes,</span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvEi4vH_zxAu8TkTmYkBv71rVS2uKL412H6u-uKSSTdQTSPT2dAHrGItNLHxYoN9Mg-sdnolcF5btfPZCRxgOW3YyncPt23bbbSfHV90tazkOo4DaqYQNO9ZC48lBuyfbpGlHwaW41QZ_7MfnIJ1mdGio2_t-O9M_aIWplPwU9JCsoQV8gi53gScAL_OU/s2715/20231210_164315.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2645" data-original-width="2715" height="390" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvEi4vH_zxAu8TkTmYkBv71rVS2uKL412H6u-uKSSTdQTSPT2dAHrGItNLHxYoN9Mg-sdnolcF5btfPZCRxgOW3YyncPt23bbbSfHV90tazkOo4DaqYQNO9ZC48lBuyfbpGlHwaW41QZ_7MfnIJ1mdGio2_t-O9M_aIWplPwU9JCsoQV8gi53gScAL_OU/w400-h390/20231210_164315.jpg" width="400" /></span></a></div><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;"><br /> I've used a selection of sets from Card-io stamps. I just love this tall, lanky snowman, he's so sweet and he's welcoming his little friends who have brought gifts for him. I've used lots of glitter and gel pens.</span><p></p><p><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;">It's sad the the CCC is stopping, but for lots of different reasons we are all finding it difficult to get around to creating the cards, and over the last few years our numbers have dropped. so it was time to call it a day. I will still be making Christmas cards all year round as Christmas cards are my favourite kind to make.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;">I'm also not blogging so much these days either, I just don't seam to get around to do it on a regular bases, but I do like to pop in and see what you are all doing, but don't go back on all the days that I've missed, so sorry if I miss you out, but I think I manage to comment on my usual friends fairly often.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;">I hope you are all well and getting through your Christmas preparations with out too much hassle. I had a scaring drive to the surgery with him and he was blue lighted from there. So no vacuuming for him or lifting anything heavy for a few weeks, so I'm exhausted with doing his share of the chores as well as my own. Anyway, he's on the mend, and he had excellent treatment in Raigmore hospital, even although they were on red alert.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;">so, this is the first time I've been near my computer for ages.</span></p><p><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;">Anyhoo, it's time once again for the Christmas Card Club to show their latest cards, and this time the theme is something beginning with R, I've taken a bit of artistic licence with my card,</span></p><p></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVcZdBD7iuQVvR-C3PEiMCLJ4DqAsQvZNSETHch0wiHtjhtgYDubmHktksN7ENfobTz6zK4Lz8i5QKH8f_LjXZErUp69pVDPgQU9oTGcrj8nn7K6H-Ssxzgrvrn0-HwmwHNSZdEM_H7kMAXo_D6z1nE7_UQcI2WNwgtSJEoXTy4_NOlfy3wM6x5AsMqOc/s2703/CCC%20something%20beginning%20with%20R%20Ocy%2023.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2574" data-original-width="2703" height="381" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjVcZdBD7iuQVvR-C3PEiMCLJ4DqAsQvZNSETHch0wiHtjhtgYDubmHktksN7ENfobTz6zK4Lz8i5QKH8f_LjXZErUp69pVDPgQU9oTGcrj8nn7K6H-Ssxzgrvrn0-HwmwHNSZdEM_H7kMAXo_D6z1nE7_UQcI2WNwgtSJEoXTy4_NOlfy3wM6x5AsMqOc/w400-h381/CCC%20something%20beginning%20with%20R%20Ocy%2023.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><br /><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;">This is Rufus looking up at the Red Berries, so two lots of Rs, cheating a bit I know. </span><p></p><p><span style="font-family: Merriweather; font-size: large;">Rufus and the berries are from Lavinia Stamps, and the little branches are from Card-io.
